Claims (1)
- 【実用新案登録請求の範囲】 (1) 少なくても２枚のガラス板の間に、液晶を
封止したガラスパネルのリード端子に、フイルム
基板にＩＣが実装されている複数のＴＡＢ（Ｔａ
ｐｅ Ａｕｔｏｍａｔｅｄ Ｂｏｎｄｉｎｇ）の
端子とを接続してＩＣの出力信号をパネルへ供給
する薄型表示装置において、 前記ガラスパネルとＴＡＢにおいて、ＴＡＢの
ガラスパネルとの接続用端子にはガラスパネルに
信号を出力するための信号用端子の他にＩＣへの
入力信号用端子が設けてあり、この入力信号用端
子が接続されたガラス上の電極パターンにより、
複数のＴＡＢの端子とつなげられていることを特
徴とする薄型表示装置。 (2) 請求項１において、ＩＣへの入力信号の１
部または全てをガラス上の電極パターンにより、
複数のＴＡＢの端子とつなげられている事を特徴
とする薄型表示装置。 (3) 請求項１において、ガラス上の電極パター
ンにメタルメツキを施した事を特徴とする薄型表
示装置。 (4) 請求項１において、ＩＣへの入力信号の１
部または全てをガラスの両面の電極パターンをパ
ターニングし、ＴＡＢ端子が接合されるガラスの
面のパターンに、その裏面にパターニングされた
配線を、フレキシブル基板等によつて接合するこ
とによつて、複数のＴＡＢの端子とつなげられて
いる事を特徴とする薄型表示装置。 (5) 請求項１において、ＩＣへの入力信号の１
部のガラスの面の電極パターンは、ＴＡＢ端子の
接合されたところできれており、またはＩＣのキ
ヤリー信号の出力信号が、次に配線される側にＴ
ＡＢの電極パターンにより配線され、またガラス
の電極に接続されていることを特徴とする薄型表
示装置。
