Claims (1)
- 【実用新案登録請求の範囲】 (1) シリンダライナーの内周面に、ピストンに
装着したピストンリングの外周面が摺接する内燃
機関において、シリンダライナーの内周面に硬質
物質粒子の粉末を埋込み、鋳鉄あるいは鋼製のピ
ストンリングの少くとも外周面に反応ガスとして
窒素ガスを用いた蒸着層を設けている内燃機関。 (2) 硬質物質粒子がＳｉＣ，Ａｌ２Ｏ３，Ｃｒ
２Ｏ３，Ｓｉ３Ｎ４の群から選ばれた１種又は２
種以上の組合せからなり、蒸発層としてのイオン
プレーテイング層が蒸発物質としてＴｉおよび／
又はＣｒを用いている請求項(1)の内燃機関。 (3) ピストンリングの外周面に蒸着法により、
金属Ｃｒ層と、その外表面にＣｒ２Ｎが次第に多
く含有され且つ一部にＣｒＮが混入する窒化Ｃｒ
層との混合層からなる下地層に、蒸発物質として
Ｔｉおよび／又はＣｒを用いた蒸着層を設けてい
る請求項(1)の内燃機関。 (4) ピストンリングの外周面にチツ化層を設け
且つその外周面に物理的蒸着（ＰＶＤ）によるイ
オンプレーテイング層を設けている請求項(2)の
内燃機関。
