[Prior Art] Conventionally, surfactants and surfactant compositions that have a strong protein denaturing power have caused severe roughness when used repeatedly, whereas surfactants and surfactant compositions that have a low protein denaturing power have been used for a long time. It is well known that even if the composition (for example, shampoo) is used continuously for a long period of time, skin IN disorders such as rough hands are unlikely to occur, and that the gf1 intensity on the skin is extremely low.

On the other hand, anionic surfactants represented by general formulas (A) and (B) below are used in detergents such as breast washes and shampoos because of their excellent detergency.
It has the disadvantage that it has strong protein'X denaturing power and skin irritation, which tends to cause skin disorders such as rough hands.

As a result of intensive research aimed at improving the drawbacks of the prior art, the present inventors determined that an appropriate amount of the amphoteric surfactant represented by the general formula (C) described below in JP-A No. 1-139588, When mixed with the anionic surfactant represented by (A) and/or (B), it satisfies the essential requirements as a detergent such as foaming properties and detergency, but has low protein denaturation power and causes rough hands. The present inventors have discovered that it is possible to obtain a detergent composition that hardly causes skin damage and has significantly low skin irritation, and has completed the present invention.

By combining such an anionic surfactant represented by the above general formula (A) and/or (11) and an amphoteric surfactant represented by the above general formula (C), when each of them is used alone, Phenomena such as an increase in viscosity and a decrease in critical micelle concentration occur, and surfactant properties such as foaming properties and detergency are superior to those of the anionic surfactants represented by the above general formulas (A) and (B) alone. At the same time, it was possible to significantly reduce the protein denaturation power to almost the same level as that of the amphoteric surfactant represented by the general formula (C) alone.
