[Technical background of the invention and its problems] An X-ray tube device is known that includes a cooler, commonly called a Haube, for forced air cooling of insulating oil in an X-ray tube storage container. In particular, in order to make the apparatus compact, it is conceivable to integrally fix an insulating oil cooler to a part of the outer periphery of an X-ray tube housing container that houses an X-ray tube. In that case, the insulating oil transport pipe that connects the two is connected to have the shortest dimension. Moreover, it is generally considered that this transport pipe is constructed from a metal pipe. By the way, the X-ray tube device in which the cooler is fixed to the X-ray tube housing container is heavy and therefore has poor workability in the manufacturing process. Furthermore, in the process of injecting insulating oil into the X-ray tube storage container and the cooler, the insulating oil flows into the outer walls of these containers and the cooler, or into the inside of the cooler, which tends to cause oil stains.
In particular, if a large amount of insulating oil is attached, it is not only inconvenient to handle, but also may cause a fire. Normally, a method for removing this oil stain is to place the entire X-ray tube device in a high-temperature furnace at approximately 100°C to evaporate the oil. However, oil adhered inside the cooler is difficult to remove, and when high-temperature heat treatment is used, the lubricant for bearings such as ball bearings in blowers and pumps becomes hot and leaks outside, easily causing abnormalities in the lubrication of the bearings. This may cause noise and vibration, which may shorten the lifespan.

[Purpose of the invention] This invention provides an X-ray tube apparatus that can eliminate the above-mentioned disadvantages, prevent oil stains on the outer surface of the apparatus, improve workability, and prevent deterioration of cooler performance.

[Summary of the invention] This invention consists of an insulating oil transport pipe connected between an X-ray tube storage container that houses an X-ray tube and is filled with insulating oil, and an insulating oil cooler provided outside this container. ,
This is an X-ray tube device that is wound around the outer periphery of an X-ray tube storage container, for example, over one or more turns. Thereby, during the step of filling the X-ray tube storage container and the cooler with insulating oil, the insulating oil transport pipe can be unwound to separate the container and the cooler from each other. Therefore, there is almost no possibility that the insulating oil will adhere to the outer surface of the cooler or between the internal heat dissipation fins, especially during the insulating oil filling process. Further, in the process of removing insulating oil adhering to the outside of the container by high-temperature heating, the process can be performed without placing a cooler in the high-temperature furnace, and there is no risk of deterioration of various parts of the cooler. In this way, it is possible to obtain an X-ray tube device that is easy to assemble and manufacture, has no risk of impairing the performance and life characteristics of the device, and is highly reliable.

FIG. 1 shows the appearance of the completed X-ray tube device. In the figure, reference numeral 11 denotes an X-ray tube storage container, 12 an X-ray emission window formed in the large diameter central part, 13 an anode side container wall formed with a slightly smaller diameter than the central part, and 14 a cathode. Side container wall, 15,1
6 represents a bushing for connecting a high voltage cable, 21 represents an insulating oil cooler, and 22 represents a cooling air intake window. Therefore, the X-ray tube housing container 11 and the insulating oil cooler 21 are arranged at step portions 17 and 18 on both sides of the container center.
an insulating oil transport pipe 31 wrapped around one or more turns;
32. These transport pipes allow insulating oil to be circulated between the container and the cooler as shown by arrows A and B. The insulating oil transport pipes 31 and 32 are made of a material that is difficult to transmit vibrations and pulsations caused by the flow of insulating oil to the X-ray tube housing container. The preferred material is a flexible material that is heat resistant to 100° C. or higher, such as a rubber hose or a nylon hose. The nylon band 19 is held flexibly at several locations, and the nylon band 19 is further fixed to several locations on the circumference of the stepped portions 17 and 18 of the container with screws.

The assembly procedure of this device will be explained with reference to FIGS. 2 and 3. Insulating oil transport pipes 31 and 32 extending from the cooler 21 and having a length of 1 to 2 m are connected to transport pipe connection fittings 20a and 20b provided on both side walls of the X-ray tube storage container 11 . The cooler 21 includes a strainer 23 connected to a transport pipe, a transport pump 24,
A heat exchanger 25 having heat radiation fins, a blower 26,
A protective cover 27 and a mounting flange 28 are provided. In this way, the two are connected by an insulating oil transport pipe, and the inside is filled with insulating oil. At that time, the X-ray tube storage container and the cooler are separated by the length of the insulating oil transport pipe and then installed in the insulating oil filling device. Then, the X-ray emission window 12 of the container is removed, and the insulating oil-filled area inside the container and the cooler is evacuated to a vacuum state, and then insulating oil is injected. Then, the X-ray emission window 12 is sealed with the required amount filled. Next, remove the insulating oil adhering to the outer surface of the container. At that time, only the container is placed in the high-temperature furnace with the cooler removed, and the cooler is placed outside the furnace for heat treatment.

In the X-ray tube device thus completed, the high-temperature insulating oil in the container flows into the cooler through one insulating oil transport pipe wrapped around the outer periphery of the container, and the air-cooled insulating oil flows into the other insulating oil. It is circulated through the transport pipe. In the device of this embodiment, in particular, the insulating oil transport pipe is wrapped around the outer circumference of the stepped part of the container wall on the anode and cathode sides, which are lighter than the center of the container.
It can be configured such that the transport tube does not undesirably protrude from the container, and a relatively compact profile can be achieved. [Effects of the invention] As explained above, according to this invention, it is possible to easily assemble and manufacture the cooler without depositing insulating oil on the outer surface of the cooler or between the heat radiation fins. In addition, even if insulating oil adheres to the outside of the container, the process of removing this adhered insulating oil by high-temperature heating can be done without placing a cooler in the high-temperature furnace, which can cause deterioration of various parts of the cooler. It has an excellent practical effect in that there is no danger.
