Abstract

PURPOSE:To make favorable working environment for an operator in work and prevent air pollution by providing a wet type collecting tank on the lower part of a separating device connected to the extreme end of an exhaust pipe. CONSTITUTION:A separating device 14 consisting of a tangential inflow type cyclone is connected to the extreme end of an exhaust pipe introduced from an exhaust muffler 10. A wet type collecting tank 15 stored with the liquid 17 having adhesively collecting action of harmful component such as graphite contained in exhaust gas, is provided on the lower part of the separating device 14. Hereby, harmful component such as graphite contained in exhaust gas emitted at operation is separated with the separating device 14, dropped by self weight, and collected into the wet type collecting tank 15. Consequently, harmful component such as graphite to be the cause of air pollution can be removed from exhaust gas.

By the way, in the above exhaust system, the exhaust gas discharged from the exhaust pipe (9) is quickly dispersed into the atmosphere and diluted when the vehicle is running, so there is no problem. As a result, workers often inhale exhaust gas while working, which poses health management problems.

Therefore, P-type exhaust pipes and rising-type exhaust pipes that rise behind the driver's seat (3) have been proposed, and some of them have been put into practical use. However, these exhaust pipes are not exhaust pipes. Although the change in the location of the exhaust gas may help improve the working environment for workers during work, the exhaust gas may still be discharged into the atmosphere through the exhaust pipe while containing harmful components such as graphite. air pollution remains a problem.

In FIG. 1, (10) is an exhaust muffler, (11) is an exhaust pipe led out from the exhaust muffler (10), and is branched into a first branch pipe (12) and a second branch pipe (13) in the middle,
The first branch pipe (12) is bent to the right in the direction of travel of the vehicle, with its tip located in front of the rear wheel (5), and the second
The branch pipe (13) is bent and turned in the direction of travel of the vehicle and extended between the driver's seat (3) and the front cargo box (1), where it is raised almost vertically and its upper end is connected to the separating device. (14) is connected. A tangential flow type cyclone is used for the separation device (14), and in this type of tangential flow type cyclone, when exhaust gas is blown in tangentially from the top of the outer cylinder (14a) at a predetermined speed, the exhaust gas is It flows into the lower conical part while swirling along the inner wall surface of the outer cylinder (14a),
Here, the flow gradually changes to an upward flow in the center and the upper inner cylinder (14
b) When the harmful components such as graphite contained in the exhaust gas move inside the exhaust gas, they pass through the inside and exit from the exhaust pipe (14c), and when they rotate inside, the inner wall surface of the outer cylinder (14a) collides with and falls. (15) is a wet collection tank provided below the separator (14), and the outer cylinder (14) of the separator (14)
It is connected to the lower end of a) through a communication pipe (16), and contains a predetermined amount of water, metal talin, etc. (trade name).

First, when driving, the operation switch (21) is turned OFF.
Since the on-off valve (18) is open in the F state, the exhaust gas discharged from the exhaust muffler (10) to the exhaust pipe (11) mainly flows into the first branch pipe (12). 1
It is discharged from the tip of the branch pipe (12) to the lower right side of the vehicle body, where it quickly disperses and becomes diluted in the atmosphere. On the other hand, a small amount of the exhaust gas that has flowed into the second branch pipe (13) flows into the separation device (14) and the outer cylinder (14) of this separation device (14).
While rotating along the inner wall surface of a), this swirling movement separates harmful components such as graphite and flows into the lower conical part, where the flow gradually changes to an upward flow and passes through the upper inner cylinder (14b) into the discharge pipe. (14c) is discharged into the atmosphere with most of the harmful components such as graphite removed. Harmful components such as graphite separated from the exhaust gas by the separator (14) are then passed from the lower end of the outer cylinder (14a) of the separator (14) through the communication pipe (16) to the wet collection tank (15) due to their own weight. The liquid (17

state and the on-off valve (18) is closed, all the exhaust gas discharged from the exhaust muffler (10) to the exhaust pipe (11) flows into the second branch pipe (13), It flows into the separator (14) through the pipe (13), where harmful components such as graphite are separated and removed and discharged into the atmosphere from the discharge pipe (14c). Therefore, the exhaust gas emitted contains almost no harmful components such as graphite, which helps improve the working environment for workers and does not pollute the atmosphere.
