し、ケーシング1の下部のプロペラシヤフト4に

上のプロペラ5を駆動して船体を推進させるよう
になされたものが一般に用いられているが、エン
ジン2や燃料タンク3が搭載されるエンジンルー
ム6は合成樹脂製のエンジンカバー7により被覆

カバーの内面が燃料タンクに接触してもリブの外
側縁が接触するようにし、係合金具類が接触しな
いようにして燃料タンクを保護するようにした船

びその固定部材よりも突出するリブを一体に突設
したので、エンジンカバーを脱着する際にカバー
が燃料タンクに接触しても係合金具やその固定部
材が燃料タンクの表面に接触することがなく、リ
ブが接触するため燃料タンクの塗料を剥離した
り、傷をつけることが解消され、しかも係合金具
類にコーテイングを施す必要もないのでコストダ
ウンをはかることもできるとともにエンジンカバ
ーがリブにより補強され、合成樹脂製のカバーで
あつても強度を高め、耐久性を向上することがで
