Abstract

PURPOSE:To enhance brightness and decorative value and prevent wrinkles or spots from being generated, by vapor-depositing a metallic layer on a film of a synthetic resin such as a polyester resin, coating the surface of the vapor-deposited layer with an ionomer resin layer by melt lamination, releasing the resin film to transfer the vapor-deposited film onto the ionomer resin layer, and pressing a polyvinyl chloride sheet against the exposed surface of the vapor-deposited film, with an adhesive therebetween. CONSTITUTION:A longitudinally smooth film 2 of a synthetic resin, e.g. a polyester film or polypropylene, is coated entirely on one side thereof with a vapor-deposited layer 3 of a metal such as aluminum. Next, the surface of the layer 3 is coated with a transparent ionomer resin layer 4 directly by melt laminating. The resin film 2 is then released to transfer the vapor-deposited film 3 onto the ionomer resin layer 4. An adhesive 5 is applied to the exposed surface of the vapor-deposited film 3, and a polyvinyl chloride sheet 6 is superposed on and pressed against the adhesive-coated surface, thereby obtaining a bright tape 1. An ethylene copolymer resin layer 7 may be provided between the vapor-deposited metallic film 3 and the ionomer resin layer 4 by melt laminating. The bright tape 1 is longitudinally attached to a braid head part 11 of a molding A, by integral molding.

(Prior Art) In general, various methods are used to apply a metal vapor deposited layer to be deposited and buried inside the bright tape used for molding of vehicles, etc. of this type.・Ru. (1) A metal vapor-deposited layer made of metal such as aluminum directly on a longitudinal vinyl chloride sheet, and (2) a metal vapor-deposited layer made of various metals on the front or back side of a polyester tape. As for (3), it is currently known that a metal foil tape is interposed instead of the polyester.

(Problems to be Solved by the Invention) Regarding the bright tapes used in conventional moldings, in (1), vinyl chloride does not have a smooth surface due to its very nature. Therefore, there is a problem that even if a metal vapor deposited layer is directly formed, the brightness is significantly deteriorated and the decorative value is low.

In addition, in (2) above, the polyester tape with a metal vapor-deposited layer has no problems with heat resistance (but wrinkles easily occur in the polyester tape when it is heated and bent at corners etc.). In addition, in the case of a wide glitter tape, many wrinkles occur, which significantly impairs the shine and decorative value.Furthermore,
In (3) above, glitter tapes that use metal foil tend to have many wrinkles and spots when laminated with various resin layers because the metal foil itself is very thin. In addition, this metal foil tape has large and small wrinkles that occur at bent parts such as corners, which impairs the bright surface.
・It had some problems.

(Means for Solving the Problems) In order to achieve the above object, the method for producing a bright tape for molding of the present invention is to provide excellent brightness and prevent the occurrence of stains and wrinkles. A bright tape is applied to a smooth synthetic resin film such as a polyester film or polypropylene, and a metal vapor-deposited layer made of a metal such as aluminum is applied thereto. An ionomer resin layer is melt laminated on the surface of this metal vapor deposited layer. Next, the smooth synthetic resin film (2) is peeled off, the metal vapor deposited film is transferred to the ionomer resin layer, and a vinyl chloride sheet is polymerized on the surface of the exposed metal vapor deposited film via an adhesive. This is a method of manufacturing bright tape in the longitudinal direction by pressure bonding.

(Function) The present invention is a bright tape produced by the manufacturing method as described above, which is integrally embedded in the molding head (11) of the molding (A) as shown in FIG. To do this, insert and fix the insertion leg t111 of the molding (N) using adhesive or the like on the outer periphery of the glass panel I to the flag etc. at the opening of the window frame of the vehicle body panel a9 of the vehicle AE shown in FIG. Alternatively, in the case where the bright tape (1) is embedded in a belt-shaped molding, by adhering it to the outer circumferential surface of the vehicle, the bright tape (1) is floated on the surface of the molding (5) to create a metallic luster in large and small sizes. It is intended to be expressed over the long term.

In other words, according to the manufacturing method of this bright molding tape, the metal vapor deposited layer is deposited with a thin mirror-like surface remaining in order to be transferred from a synthetic resin film such as polyester, which has very good smoothness, and is applied under great pressure. It has excellent brightness and prevents the metal vapor deposited layer from tearing and spots, as well as preventing elongation that occurs during molding. In addition, it can reliably prevent the wrinkles and cracks that tend to occur when bending a part of a corner with conventional methods, and it also has excellent properties that can sufficiently prevent wrinkles and unevenness caused by bending by using a wide bright tape. There is.

According to the bright tape of the present invention, the metal foil itself easily shrinks against the resin layer, and wrinkles and unevenness occur at the bent corners of the tape, unlike those that use metal foil instead of the conventional metal vapor-deposited layer. etc. will be fully resolved.

In addition, a metal vapor deposited film was applied to one side of a synthetic resin film such as polyester, and an ionomer resin layer was polymerized on the surface of this metal vapor deposited film, and then the polyester film was peeled off. A smooth synthetic resin film such as polyester is deposited to give it a beautiful, mirror-like finish, and the smooth metal deposited film has good adhesion.
In addition, it has the property of being able to adhere flatly to an ionomer resin layer with excellent transparency. In addition, by peeling and transferring a synthetic resin film such as polyester, the bright tape becomes thinner overall, and also has poor flexibility, poor polyester film, and even a wide metal-deposited film can only be applied to some corners. The corners are beautifully finished without wrinkles.Furthermore, since the vinyl chloride sheet is polymerized with an adhesive on the surface of the metal vapor-deposited film, it is the same as the vinyl chloride that is the constituent material of the molding. It becomes effective and significantly strengthens the integral bond with the molding.

In addition, since the metal vapor deposited layer and the phyonomer resin layer are integrated by polymerizing the ethylene copolymer resin layer, the adhesion between the metal vapor deposited layer and the phyonomer resin layer is very weak. The ethylene copolymer resin layer, which has the best adhesion, can be used to firmly integrate the whole, making it possible to produce a bright tape that can prevent peeling of the metal deposited layer and generation of knots.

Furthermore, the synthetic resin film between the synthetic resin film and the metal vapor-deposited film can be peeled off (a protective film made of a resin layer is interposed by polymerization, so that the synthetic resin film can be easily peeled off). It has the effect of stably protecting the thin or thin metal vapor deposited layer, and can prevent the metal vapor deposit layer from becoming unstable due to the high temperature and pressing force during extrusion molding.
