Claims (1)

  1. 【実用新案登録請求の範囲】 (1) 被認識文字を手書き入力するための入力部
    、被認識文字の字種を指定するための字種指定部
    、各字種毎の辞書を格納する辞書部であつて前記
    字種指定部から出力される字種指定信号により１
    つの辞書が有効とされる辞書部、被認識文字の特
    徴を抽出する特徴抽出部、及び、被認識文字の特
    徴と前記辞書部の辞書とを照合して被認識文字を
    認識する識別部を具える実時間手書き文字認識装
    置において、 被認識文字のストローク数を計数するストロー
    ク数計数部と、 該ストローク数に応じ前記字種指定信号を所定
    の字種指定信号に変更して前記辞書部に出力する
    字種決定部と を具えたことを特徴とする実時間手書き文字認識
    装置。 (2) 前記字種決定部を、前記ストローク数と予
    め定めた閾値とを比較し、前記ストローク数が前
    記閾値より少ない場合は前記字種指定信号を前記
    辞書部にそのまま出力し、前記ストローク数が前
    記閾値以上の場合は前記字種指定信号を所定の字
    種指定信号に変更して前記辞書部に出力する字種
    決定部としたこと を特徴とする請求項１に記載の実時間手書き文字
    認識装置。
