Description

【発明の詳細な説明】 産業上の利用分野 本発明はシート及び背支持体を備えている椅子
の改良に関する。
従来の技術及び発明が解決しようとする問題
点。最近、いわゆるひざまづいているような
（Kne−eling−like）坐つて入る姿勢、まだバラ
ンス（BALANS）で表わされた他の坐つた
姿勢に多少焦点が向けられてきた。この坐つてい
る姿勢は身体の上方部分とももの部分との間をで
きるだけ広い角度にして、同時に椅子使用者のす
ねに対して支持手段を提供するように焦点が向け
られてきている。更に、使用者が前腕の良好な支
持体を提供する快適なよりかかり位置を得るため
に前記椅子内で180度回転できる椅子の必要性が
ある。
前記の２つの必要性、即ちひざまづいているよ
うな姿勢及び椅子の上で180度回転の可能性は、
ひざまづいたような姿勢は、シートがある傾斜を
有していることを必要とし、且つ使用者がシート
からすべり落ちるのを防止するために椅子使用者
のすねに対して支持クツシヨンを必要とするの
で、それ自身公知の椅子に設けることは困難であ
る。
本発明では、前記多重使用を可能にし、同時に
すね支持体の必要性を避けられる椅子を提供する
ことが意図されている。
本発明は、上面が実質的に逆Ｕ字型に湾曲して
いる長手方向のサドル形状部分を具備するシート
１を有する椅子において、該長手方向のサドル形
状部分の各長手方向側部の中央部分から該サドル
形状部分の長手方向に対して横方向に突出してい
る対向するサドル状部材２，３を具備し、該横方
向に突出しているサドル状部材２，３の上面は該
長手方向のサドル形状部分と実質的に同じレベル
にあり、シート１を上から見た時該長手方向のサ
ドル形状部分及び該横方向のサドル形状部材はほ
ぼ十字状をなしていることを特徴とする椅子を提
供する。
本発明の好ましい、しかしこれに限定されない
実施態様を添付の図面を参照して説明する。
実施例 第１図において、シート１はその長手方向に一
般的なサドル形状を有している。シート１の長手
方向の中央部分からサドル状の部材２，３が横方
向に突出しており、そして第３図及び第４図から
明らかな如く、椅子使用者の後方上部ももの部分
を支持するように意図されている。シート１の長
手方向のサドル形状部分は実質的に逆Ｕ字状に湾
曲しており、そして横方向のサドル形状部材２，
３の上面は長手方向のサドル形状部分の実質的に
同じレベルである。長手方向のサドル形状部分と
横方向のサドル形状部材２，３はシート１を上か
ら見た時ほぼ十字状をなしている。椅子のバツク
レスト４は比較的狭い上方中央部分５と、そこか
ら横に延びている２つのブランチ（branch）６，
７とを具備しており、前記ブランチ６，７は第３
図及び第４図に明らかに例示されている２つの坐
つている姿勢のときひじ／前腕支持体として役立
つ。前記中央部分５を比較的狭くすることによつ
て、椅子使用者は必然的に肩の領域を幾分後方に
引き、これが男／女の背の改良された姿勢を生ず
る。第３図及び第４図に開示された２つの坐つて
いる姿勢では、身体の上方部分ともも部分との間
の角度が標準的に役90度である従来の椅子とは対
照的に、同時にひざを曲げていて、身体の上方部
分ともも部分との間に例えば110度乃至150度の範
囲の広く開いた角度が得られる。従つて身体の上
方部分とももの部分との間に前記広い角度によつ
て提供されるいくつかの利点を提供し、同時に足
（ももを含む）を大巾に容易に動かすことができ
る本発明の椅子によつて上記の坐つている姿勢が
利用可能となつた。
第２図に示された如く、椅子のバツクレストと
シートとの間の相互の距りはそれ自身公知である
調整装置８，９によつて調整されることができ、
前記調整装置はその下方部分において椅子シート
１の底部側へ下方に延びており、そしてそこに取
付けブラケツト１３に取付けられている。シート
及びバツクレストはこれによつて支持コラム１１
を介して椅子のサブフレーム１２に連結され、こ
の支持コラムは無段階に調整可能であり、これに
よつて椅子の高さが公知の方法で制御されること
ができる。レリーズハンドル１０がこの目的のた
めに利用できる。従つて椅子は例えば足、及び身
体の上方部分に関して異なる身体の大きさを有し
ている使用者に容易に適応することができる。
第１図に示された如く、サドルは長手方向にお
いて、その前方で上方に僅かに曲げられている。
サドル状の横の部材２及び３もまた僅かに上方に
曲げられることができる。横の部材２，３の終端
間の距離はほぼサドルの長さに対応することがで
きる。部材２，３は、例示された限定しない実施
態様ではそれぞれの頂部にサドル１の曲率半径よ
りも小さい曲率半径を有している。
第４図から明らかな如く、中央部分５は身体の
上方部分の前かがみの際に部分的な胸部の支持体
として役立つ。また、シートの部材２，３は椅子
占有者のももの後側のための支持体を提供する。
本発明の範囲内で本発明の構想から逸脱するこ
となく第１図及び第２図に例示された椅子を変更
し得ることは容易に理解される。従つて、椅子の
バツクレストはバツクレストの最大幅の1/3にほ
ぼ等しい幅を有する中央部分を備えておりかつほ
ぼプラス記号の形状を有するように例示されてい
るが、この中央部分の幅は必要なように容易に変
化されることができることはすぐに理解される。
可能な変更として、ブランチ６，７の上方に延び
ている前記中央部分５は減少されるか又は除去さ
れることも思い浮ばれることができる。
また椅子占有者は横向きに坐ることができるこ
とが理解され、これによつて主サドル本体は椅子
占有者のももの後の部分のための支持体を構成し
ており、椅子占有者はシートの横の部材２又は３
の上にのつて、１方の腕をそれぞれ、支持体６又
は７の上に置くことができる。
本発明の範囲内で、本発明の椅子のサブフレー
ムは任意の適当な形状であることができ、そして
例示された如きサブフレームは決して本発明の範
囲に限定されないことも理解される。
【図面の簡単な説明】
第１図は椅子の傾斜図である。第２図は椅子の
下方からの後部斜視図である。第３図は椅子使用
者が前の方向に向いているときの椅子の使用を例
示している。第４図は椅子使用者が後の方向に向
いているときの椅子の使用を例示している。 １……シート、２，３……サドル状の部材、４
……バツクレスト、５……中央部分、６，７……
ブランチ。

Claims (1)

  1. 【特許請求の範囲】 １ 上面が実質的に逆Ｕ字型に湾曲している長手
    方向のサドル形状部分を具備するシート１を有す
    る椅子において、該長手方向のサドル形状部分の
    各長手方向側部の中央部分から該サドル形状部分
    の長手方向に対して横方向に突出している対向す
    るサドル状部材２，３を具備し、該横方向に突出
    しているサドル状部材２，３の上面は該長手方向
    のサドル形状部分と実質的に同じレベルにあり、
    シート１を上から見た時該長手方向のサドル形状
    部分及び該横方向のサドル形状部材はほぼ十字状
    をなしていることを特徴とする椅子。 ２ 横方向のサドル形状部材２，３の外端間の距
    離は長手方向のサドル形状部分の長さにほぼ対応
    している特許請求の範囲第１項記載の椅子。 ３ 横方向のサドル形状部材２，３が頂部におい
    て長手方向のサドル形状部分の曲率半径よりも小
    さい曲率半径を有している特許請求の範囲第１項
    又は第２項記載の椅子。 ４ バツクレストを具備する特許請求の範囲第１
    〜３項のいずれかに記載の椅子。 ５ 該バツクレストが比較的狭い垂直な中央部分
    と、そこから横に延びている２つのブランチとを
    有している特許請求の範囲第４項記載の椅子。 ６ 該中央部分が該バツクレストの最大幅の1/3
    にほぼ等しい幅を有している特許請求の範囲第５
    項記載の椅子。 ７ 該バツクレストがほぼプラス記号の形状を有
    している特許請求の範囲第５項記載の椅子。
