Traditionally, meat grillers and meat grilling devices generate smoke when they are used, which contains oil, soot, moisture, etc., which can contaminate your face, clothes, room, etc. The treatment of has become a technical challenge for the industry. Conventionally, some methods have been used to dispose of smoke by installing a suction port in the center or side of the meat grilling area and guiding the smoke through a duct to an outdoor blower for exhaust. As the smoke passes through the duct, the temperature drops and the water vapor contained in the smoke becomes condensed water, causing corrosion in the areas where it accumulates, and oily smoke condenses and adheres to the inside. This could cause the areas where it was attached to burn and cause a fire.

In order to prevent corrosion and fire from occurring inside these ducts, the inside of the duct is coated with anti-corrosion coating, a filter is inserted to collect oil mist to prevent oil condensation, and smoke is removed. One method is to remove oil and soot by soaking it in water (Japanese Patent Application No. 57-234811 filed in the same application). was. However, in such exhaust smoke purification methods, if a filter is used, if the filter mesh is too fine, the exhaust suction ability will be reduced, so only a filter that can remove oil droplets is used. The cleaning effect was extremely poor, and it was troublesome to have to wash and replace the filter frequently. In the case of water washing, not only was it troublesome to change the water and clean the inside, but it also caused an odor. Removal of this had no effect.

Therefore, in view of the current situation, the present invention eliminates the drawbacks of the conventional technology regarding cleaning of exhaust smoke generated during meat grilling, and aims to remove not only impurities in exhaust smoke but also its odor. The purpose of this invention is to provide an epoch-making device that does not require any duct equipment.

The oxidation decomposition chamber 18 mainly constitutes a part of an air passage in which a porous catalyst body 20 whose base material is coated with platinum is housed, and the exhaust gas that reaches it passes through the pores of the catalyst body. During the passage, the end combustion products are subjected to an oxidation effect due to the low-temperature activation effect of the oxidation reaction of the platinum catalyst. It is generally known that the oxidation reaction exhibited by this white catalyst in the low temperature range is accelerated at 200 to 400°C. Further, as long as an activation temperature can be obtained, heated gas may be allowed to pass through the passage, and there is no restriction on the position thereof, and there is no restriction on the shape of the catalyst.

Therefore, when grilling meat now, first ignite the gas burners 16, 16, and then start the oxidation decomposition chambers 18, 1.
Heat 8 to about 300℃ in advance. After that, place the meat etc. on the grill 4 and grill it. On the other hand, the blower 9 installed close to the bottom of one side of the vessel 1
When rotated, suction air is generated over the entire surface of the bottom suction flue 7' of the vessel, and the upper part is sucked downward along the walls of the left and right suction flues 7, 7. A suction air path is formed between the suction ports 6, 6 on the front and rear sides above the gridiron 4 and the blower chamber 8. Therefore, the generated smoke is
It is sucked from the suction port 6 by the suction force of the blower 9 and enters the blower chamber 8 through the side suction flues 7, 7 and the bottom suction flue 7', but just before entering, a filter 10 removes coarse dust etc. The exhaust gas is led from the outlet 12 of the blower chamber 8 to the bottom discharge flue 13' and the side discharge flues 13, 13 at the front and rear of the front, from which it reaches the oxidation decomposition chambers 18, 18, and the exhaust gas is discharged from the upper left and right sides thereof. Entering the lower catalyst bodies 20, 20, 20, 20, oil smoke, soot, odor substances, etc. are oxidized and decomposed.
The main components such as carbon and hydrogen are decomposed into non-toxic carbon dioxide and water vapor, which are discharged into the atmosphere from the open lid 2 through the purification exhaust passages 21, 21 on both the left and right sides.

In the oxidation decomposition chamber 18 of the present invention, for example,
Built-in lattice catalyst with 1.8mm opening, 300℃~350℃
Heat this to about ℃, 20,000 ℃ for the catalyst volume.
When passing through ~100,000 times the volume of flue gas, the removal efficiency is almost 100% for carbon monoxide, and over 95% for hydrocarbons, excluding temporary end-digestion during particularly sudden high concentration overloads. was decomposed and removed. In order to achieve and sustain such an effect, in the present invention, a filter 10 is provided in advance to prevent the contact holes of the catalyst from becoming clogged with non-combustible materials such as solid matter. Platinum has the advantage that the reaction is accelerated at low temperatures, but it is still more effective to raise the temperature, so the gas is removed before it enters the chamber. It is heated to an appropriate temperature by a burner 16. Note that this gas burner 16 is originally provided for grilling meat, etc., but as a heat source for heating the catalyst, it utilizes the heat that is normally wasted during grilling. .

The exhaust smoke generated on the grill is sucked in from the front and back suction ports on both sides of the top of the vessel, and after removing solid matter and oil droplets with a filter, it is led to the oxidation decomposition chamber, where the exhaust smoke is reduced by a catalyst. The carbon monoxide and hydrocarbons contained therein are oxidized and decomposed into carbon dioxide gas and water, and the odor is also removed and purified exhaust gas is discharged outside the vessel. Therefore, a discharge duct is not required at all, and the table can be moved with the device attached to it, resulting in an extremely easy-to-handle device and a low-cost device.
