Abstract

PURPOSE:To provide information necessary for movement of passenger on the platform, when the passenger is in the vehicle, by arranging a computor, a passenger indicator, a platform-vehicle transmitter and the like in the vehicle then indicating data provided from a station on the passenger indicator. CONSTITUTION:The system comprises a vehicle computor 1, a transmitter 2, a receiver 3 and passenger indicators 4-1 - 4-4. Receiver 3 in a train receives a station name code transmitted from a transmitter 2 installed at each station when the train stops at the station. The computor 1 calls information concerning to the exit, opening side of door and the like of next stop station and calculates the distances of respective doors from the heat of the train, the direction toward an exit, and the like. The passenger indicators 4-1 - 4-4 receive the information and provides indications. By such arrangement, the passenger can move smoothly on the platform without causing congestion and the time required for movement to a target can be shortened.

The above-mentioned conventional technology allows one passenger to get off the vehicle by displaying the position of the vehicle on the route and informing the passenger that the vehicle is approaching the exit station and which door on the left or right side of the vehicle will open at the next station. This had the effect of shortening time.

However, since passengers are not provided with the information necessary to move within the station after getting off the train (for example, the exit direction and distance to the destination facility), the speed at which passengers on the 11I train can move on the platform has not been improved. It wasn't planned.

According to this embodiment, since the direction of the destination from the exit door is shown to the passenger using the time during the ride, the passenger does not have to stop at the platform after getting off the train, and the direction of the destination from the exit door is shown to the passenger. This has the effect of shortening the travel time and easing congestion on the platform6.Furthermore, according to this embodiment, by receiving the displayed content while the train is stopping at the previous station, many passengers will use it at that date and time. Since information about the facilities that are likely to be visited can be displayed according to the time, congestion on the platform can be more effectively alleviated.
