Claims (1)
- 互いに対向して配設された基板の内面に、所定
のパターンを有する透明電極と、所定の配向方向
にラビングされた配向膜とを備えると共に、該基
板の間に液晶を封入することにより構成された液
晶表示装置において、下側の基板の下面の少なく
とも一部に、所定の密度の網点が付されており、
下方から入射するバツク照明の光が該基板の下面
に備えられた上記網点によりハーフトーンに光量
調整されることを特徴とする、液晶表示装置。
