  1. 付勢ばねにより常時上方へ付勢された作動ロツ
    ドを内部空間に有するシフトレバー本体の上方に
    、前記作動ロツドを下向きに押下げる押圧体を備
    えた操作部を設け、前記作動ロツドに、シフトレ
    バー本体内から外方へ突出した側方に設けられた
    ポジシヨンプレートの位置決め溝内に臨む上下動
    可能な係合体を設け、前記シフトレバー本体内に
    、前記作動ロツドの上下動で拡縮し合うシリンダ
    ー室を形成し、シリンダー室に、前記作動ロツド
    の上昇時にシリンダー室内の空気を徐々に逃がす
    開放口を設けたことを特徴とする自動変速機用の
    シフトレバー装置。
