  1. 駆動プーリを有するクランクシヤフトと従動プ
    ーリを有する従動軸とをそれぞれ軸受けを介して
    支持するケース一側部と、該ケース一側部と共同
    して前記クランクシヤフトを支持するケース他側
    部と、前記ケース一側部と共同して減速歯車機構
    を収容するケース中央部に分割されたクランクケ
    ースにおいて、前記ケース一側部と前記ケース中
    央部との合せ面を前記ケース一側部と前記ケース
    他側部との合せ面に対して他側方向へ段違いとし
    たことを特徴とする内燃機関用クランクケース。
