Description

【発明の詳細な説明】 ［産業上の利用分野］ この発明はビデオテープレコーダ（以下、ＶＴＲと称す
）を使用してテレビジョン放送などの放送番組を予約録
画する斃に、そのビデオ信号に重複させて録画される番
組の日付文字を記録するように構成されている日付記録
装置に関するものである。
［従来の技術］ 放送番組の予約録画に際しては、一般にビデオプログラ
ムシステム（Ｖｉｄｅｏ　Ｐｒｏｇｒａｍ　Ｓｙｓｔｅ
ｍ　　：以下、ＶＰＳと称す）を利用する。このｖＰＳ
の概要はつぎの通りである。
すなわち、各放送番組コメントを新聞やテレビテキスト
などの印刷媒体を介して告知し、その印刷媒体を見て録
画したい番組がある場合、視聴者がその番組に関するデ
ータを目標値としてＶＴＲに設定し記憶させる。この設
定された目標値とビデオ信号のデータ列１６で示される
ｖＰＳコードの実際値とを比較して、その両値が一致し
ている限り、その番組の録画をおこなう。
このようなＶＰＳによる予約録画によれば、放送番組の
時間がずれた場合であっても、目標値としてＶＴＲに設
定した放送番組を誤りなく録画することができる。
上記のようにＶＰＳにより録画される放送番組のビデオ
信号に重複して日付文字を記録する日付記録装置におい
て、従来のものは、実際に目標値として設定されたｖＰ
Ｓ信号が放送され録画を開始した現時刻をビデオ信号に
重複して記録するように構成されている。
第４図は従来のＶＰＳによる日付記録装置の構成を示す
ブロック図である。同図において、（１）はチューナ、
（２）は信号処理回路、（６）はデコーダで、上記チュ
ーナ（１）により受信したビデオ信号が入力されデータ
列１６の■ＰＳデータをデコードする。（７）はタイマ
回路で、上記チューナ（１）の受信周波数を制御し、目
標値として設定された番組のチャンネルのスキャンをお
こなうとともに、上記デコーダ（６）から入力されるｖ
ＰＳデータの値、つまり実際値と上記目標値とを比較し
両値が一致したとき、その放送番組を録画する。
（３）は文字記録回路で、この文字記録回路（３）は上
記タイマ回路（７）から出力される制御Ｉ＠号によって
記録設定される日付文字の指定を受け、ビデオ信号に日
付文字を重複する。０）は記録アンプで、上記文字記録
回路（３）から出力される日付文字を重複したビデオ信
号を増幅しビデオヘッド（５）を介してビデオテープ（
８）上に録画する。
つぎに、上記構成の動作について説明する。
なお、以下の説明においては、設定された目標ｆ直１例
えば、’８９　１１月２６日（ＳＵＮ）１０：００〜１
１：００、チャンネル３ｃｈの番組が１０：３０より放
送された場合について述べる。
チューナ（１）により受信されたビデオ信号は信号処理
回路（２）およびデコーダ（８）にそれぞれ入力される
。このとき、チューナ（１）の受信周波数はタイマ回路
（７）からのコントロール信号により制御され、目標値
として設定された番組のチャンネルのスキャンがおこな
われる。
ついで、上記デコーダ（６）に入力されたビデオ信号の
データ列１６のＶＰＳデータがデコードされて、上記タ
イマ回路（７）に入力される。この値、つまり実際値と
上記の設定口・標値とが比較され、その両値が一致すれ
ば、ＶＴＲはこの番組を記録する。
一方、信号処理回路（２）に入力されたビデオ信号は文
字記録回路（３）に至る。ここで記録設定される文字は
上記タイマ回路（７）からの制御信号により指定される
。すなわち、上述の”８９１１月２６日（ＳＵＮ）１０
　：　３０に相当するデータが送られ、その日付文字が
ビデオ信号に重複される。このようにして、日付文字が
重複されたビデオ信号は記録アンプ０）に入力されて増
幅されたのち、ビデオヘッド（５）を介してテープ（８
）上に記録され、第５図に示すように、その日付文字が
表示される。
［発明が解決しようとする課題］ 従来の日付記録装置は以上のように構成されているので
、ビデオ信号と重複して記録される日付が現在時刻であ
るため、番組が予定の時間からずれて放送された場合、
利用者側において、記録された番組がどの目標値の番組
であるかを、日付記録されたデータからでは正確に判断
することが困難であった。
この発明は上記のような問題点を解消するためになされ
たもので、日付記録されたデータから、その番組の放送
予定時間などの目標値を容易に判断することができる日
付記録装置を提供することを目的とする。
［課題を解決するための手段］ この発明に係る日付記録装置は、あらかじめ設定された
目標値と放送されている実際値とを比較して両値が一致
したとき、上記目標値のデータを文字記録回路に出力す
るように構成したことを特徴とする。
［作用］ この発明によれば、利用者側において、あらかじめ設定
された目標値を日付記録データとして文字記録回路に出
力し、ビデオ信号に重複して記録するので、記録された
日付記録データの表示により、その番組の放送予定時間
などの目標値を知ることができる。
［発明の実施例］ 以下、この発明の一実施例を図面にもとづいて説明する
。
第１図はこの発明の一実施例による日付記録装置の構成
を示すブロック図である。同図において、第４図で示す
従来例と相違する点はタイマ回路（８）の機能であり、
その他の構成は第４図と同一であるため、同一の符号を
付して、それらの説明を省略する。
第１図におけるタイマ回路（９）は、デコーダ（６）か
ら入力されるビデオ信号のデータ列１６のｖＰＳデータ
の値、つまり、放送されている実際値とあらかじめ設定
された目標値とを比較し、その両値が一致したとき、そ
の目標値のデータを文字記録回路（３）に人力する機能
を有する。
つぎに、上記構成の動作について説明する。
第２図はＶＴＲの利用者があらかじめ設定した目標値と
現時刻の表示例であり、現時刻が１９８９年１１月２６
日（日曜日）１０時３０分、目標値がチャンネル３ｃｈ
、１１月２６日１０：００およびチャンネル５ｃｈ、１
１月２６日　１２：００の２つを設定している状態を示
す。
チューナ（りにより受信されたビデオ信号が信号処理回
路（２）およびデコーダ（６）にそれぞれ入力されて、
所定の信号処理およびＶＳＰデータのデコードがなされ
ることは従来例とまったく同様であるため、詳しい説明
は省略する。
上記デコーダ（６）とタイマ回路（８）との間のデータ
交換により、放送されている番組の実際値と利用者があ
らかじめ設定した目標値との比較がおこなわれ、これら
の値が一致したとき、ＶＴＲは記録を開始する。このと
き、タイマ回路（９）は目標値のデータに相邑する信号
を出力し、これを文字記録回路（３）に入力する０例え
ば、１９８９年１１月２６日（日曜日）１０：３０に利
用者が設定した目標値、３ｃｈ、１１月２６日ｌＯ：Ｏ
Ｏと実際値とが一致した場合、文字記録回路（３）ニ送
られるデータは、３ｃｈ　　’　　８　９　　年１１月
２８Ｅ　（ＳＵＮ）１０　：　００に相当するデータで
あり、また、利用者の設定した目標値が５ｃｈ、１１月
２６日１２二００の場合１文字記録回路（３）に送られ
るデータは、５ｃｈ　’　８９年１１月２６日（ＳＵＮ
）１２：００となる。
このように、タイマ回路（９）から送られてくる日付デ
ータが文字記録回路（３）において信号処理回路（２）
から出力されるビデオ信号に重複されたのち、そのビデ
オ信号は記録アンプ０）を経てビデオヘッド（５）によ
りテープ（８）に記録され、第３図に示すように表示さ
れる。
［発明の効果］ 以上のように、この発明によれば、ビデオ信号に重複し
て日付記録されるデータを利用者が設定した目標値とし
たので、その日付記録データから記録された番組の放送
予定時間などを容易に判断することができる。

）・・・タイマ回路。 なお、図中の同一符号は同一または相当部分を示す。

Claims (1)

    【特許請求の範囲】
  1. （１）ビデオ信号からビデオプログラムシステム信号を
    取り出すデコーダと、放送番組を予約する機能を有する
    タイマ回路と、このタイマ回路からの出力データにより
    ビデオ信号に日付文字信号を重複して記録する文字記録
    回路とを備えた日付記録装置において、上記タイマ回路
    を、あらかじめ設定された目標値と放送されている実際
    値とを比較して両値が一致したときに上記目標値のデー
    タを上記文字記録回路に出力するように構成したことを
    特徴とする日付記録装置。
