コンデンサに蓄積された電荷の放電によつて発光
する励起ランプと、パルスの入力に応答して前記
コンデンサを放電させるスイツチング素子と、前
記励起ランプを発光させるべきタイミングに従つ
て前記スイツチング素子に前記パルスを印加する
パルス印加手段とを有するレーザ励起装置であつ
て、前記スイツチング素子にゲートターンオフサ
イリスタを用いたことを特徴とするレーザ励起装
