Description

【発明の詳細な説明】 〔産業上の利用分野〕 本発明は熱転写式シリアルプリンタに関する。
〔従来の技術〕
従来の熱転写式プリンタは用紙を１ラテン上に供給し直
ちに印字するものであった。
〔発明が解決しようとする課題〕
従来の熱転写式シリアルプリンタは、凹凸の激しい用紙
に印字する場合に用紙の凹凸を滑らかにするための機構
がなかったため、用紙の凹部の底までインクが届かず、
印字品質が悪化するという欠点がある。
〔課題を解決するための手段〕
本発明の熱転写式シリアルプリンタは、用紙の印字する
部分の凹凸を滑らかにするために印字ヘッドの駆動と連
動して用紙面をプラテンに押付けるスムーサーローラを
設けたことを特徴とする。
〔実施例〕
次に、本発明について図面を参照して説明する。
第１図は本発明の一実施例の平面図である。キャリア７
の中に、従来の熱転写シリアルプリンタと同様にインク
リボン５．印字ヘッド６を有しており、更に用紙２の表
面を滑らかにするためのスムーザ−ローラ３が矢印９方
向へ自在に動く様にかつ回転自在な様に固定されスムー
ザ−ローラ３を用紙２の表面に押し付けるスプリング４
が設置されている。用紙２はフラットプラテン１にセッ
トされており、キャリア７が用紙２に対して矢印８の方
向へ移動しつつ印字する。
第２図は印字ヘッド部の拡大図である。用紙２の表面は
スムーザ−ローラ３がスプリング４により矢印９の方向
へ押つけられることにより凹凸が滑らかになり、その後
に印字ヘッド６によりインクリボン５のインクが用紙２
に転写される。
〔発明の効果〕
以上説明したように本発明は、用紙の表面の凹凸を滑ら
かにした後インクを転写する事により、印字品質の悪化
を防ぐことができる効果がある。

第１図は本発明の一実施例の平面図、第２図は第工図の
印字ヘッド部の拡大図である。

    【特許請求の範囲】
  1. 印字ヘッドの駆動と連動して用紙面をプラテンに押し付
    け用紙の印字する部分の凹凸を滑らかにするスムーサー
    ローラと、該スムーサーローラに力を加える手段とを有
    することを特徴とする熱転写式シリアルプリンタ。
