- 【実用新案登録請求の範囲】 転写処理を経た転写紙上のトナーを挟持搬送状
態で溶融定着するための加熱手段を内部に持つた
定着ローラ及び該定着ローラに圧接する加圧ロー
ラとを有する定着装置において、 前記定着装置に設けられている開口部を、温度
変化に基づいて形状が変化する形状記憶合金若し
くは樹脂等の材料により構成し、前記定着装置内
の温度変化に基づいて前記開口部が開閉動作する
ことを特徴とする定着装置。
