As a countermeasure to this problem, a third member called an "anti-slip" material is inserted between the upper and lower carpets to prevent the above-mentioned problem from occurring. There are inconveniences in that they are not available or do not meet the standards of the carpet used.

In addition, by using a non-woven fabric as the backing material for the upper carpet, and by heat-melting the non-woven fabric surface, it is possible to create a hook-like effect on the surface of the non-woven fabric, similar to the hook in Velcro tape, and furthermore, to create a coefficient of friction on the back side of the non-woven fabric. However, heat-melting the nonwoven fabric surface requires special processing means, which increases production costs, and applying resin to the back side of the backing material increases the weight. . Furthermore, those related to JP-A No. 58-133211,
The back side of the upper carpet to be overlaid is coated with a polymeric material with soft rubber elasticity to fix the granules, and the granules form unevenness, so special spraying or coating is not required. This method requires additional means, which increases the cost and weight as described above, and furthermore, there is a drawback that the granules tend to separate during use.

The present invention addresses this situation, and uses a simple method to forcibly prevent adhesive from seeping into the back surface of the backing material, which was considered taboo in conventional backing processing methods. It is an object of the present invention to provide a tufted carpet in which the fibers exposed on the back surface of the backing material are imparted with appropriate hardness and frictional force against the raised pile of the lower layer.

That is, the tufted carpet of the present invention is a tufted carpet that is laid over a rug with raised pile on the surface, and is made by punching cotton into a raised nonwoven fabric or polypropylene woven fabric as a backing material for the carpet. In addition to using woven fabric made of It is characterized by this.

With the structure described above, when the tufted carpet according to the present invention is laid on top of a rug, such as an electric heating carpet, which has a raised pile on its surface, the tufted carpet has the following properties:
The adhesive used on the bonding surface of the backing material is extruded to the back side and a part of it is attached to the fibers exposed on the back side of the backing material. The fibers on the back side have appropriate hardness and increased frictional force, which strengthens and enhances their entanglement with the carpet pile placed underneath, thereby preventing wrinkles and misalignment.

The present invention will be explained below with reference to the embodiments shown in the drawings. In FIG. . This backing material 4 is made of a raised nonwoven fabric or a polypropylene woven fabric with punched cotton, and this is done by fluffing the fibers 4' on both sides, or at least by fluffing the fibers 4' on both sides as shown in Fig. 3A. If the density of the fibers 4' is too coarse, the backing material 4 will stretch during the bonding process with the first base fabric. Tears may occur, and if it is too dense, the penetration of the adhesive 3 will be poor, so it is usually
It is advisable to use a nonwoven fabric with a weight in the range of 120 g/m 2 , preferably between 60 and 100 g/m 2 . In addition, since it is necessary for some of the adhesive 3 to seep out onto the back surface of the backing material 4, the amount of adhesive applied needs to be larger than that of conventional juute pasting, but if the amount is too large, the hardness of the product will increase. Therefore, the solid content of latex should be 40 to 70%.
Preferably, it is 50 to 60%.

75g/m 2 Figure 2 shows the processing process diagram of the tufted carpet of the present invention, where 1 is the first base fabric (original fabric) with pile 2 tufted on the surface, 3' is the application of adhesive 3 A required adhesive 3 is applied to the lower surface of the first base fabric 1 using a device. 4 indicates a backing material, 5 a guide roller,
6 and 6' are nip rollers, and 7 is a dryer.
However, as is well known, when the backing material 4 passes between nip rollers 6 and 6', it is pressure-bonded to the back surface of the first base fabric 2 coated with the required amount of adhesive 3, and then dried by a dryer 7. During the passage between the nip rollers 6 and 6', the adhesive 3 is squeezed out to the back side of the backing material 4 and fluffed fibers 4' are formed on the underside of the backing material 4. When this is dried, it becomes fibers 4" with thickness, hardness, and appropriate elasticity as shown in Figure 4, which increases the frictional resistance against the lower layer carpet and improves the pile of the carpet. The backing material 4 is very soft and has a base fabric structure with a high degree of freedom in terms of dimensions, so it can be tied to a base fabric that is difficult to stretch even if the tension is stiff like a conventional jute. A feeding device for cloth is not suitable, and therefore, even if a storage device such as a J-box (not shown) is used to feed the backing material, tension is not applied when feeding it to the laminating section. It is better to do this.

In addition, since the nip rollers 6 and 6' need to press out the adhesive 3 onto the back side of the backing material 4 by applying pressure, the space between them is made narrower than usual, but the degree of pressure in the width direction of the material is limited. In order to apply the pressure uniformly, that is, to apply the maximum pressure, the pressure must be minimized, and in addition, it is necessary to actively encourage the adhesive 3 to ooze out to the back surface of the backing material 4, so one of the rollers 6' is It is advisable to line the surface with a resilient rubber lining or foam material. The adhesive applied to the fibers on the back side of the backing material is dried by passing through the dryer 7, with a portion of the adhesive sticking out between the fibers, increasing its hardness.

According to the present invention, a part of the adhesive used to bond the backing material and the first base fabric is attached to the fibers exposed on the back side of the backing material in the carpet, so that the backing material The hardness of the above-mentioned fibers in the adhesive material, especially the elasticity, is increased, and the frictional force is increased, so that the anchoring effect due to entanglement or biting into the pile of carpet placed underneath is enhanced, and during use. This prevents wrinkles and misalignment from occurring when the adhesive is applied to the fibers on the back side of the backing material, and the adhesive applied to the fibers on the back side of the backing material can be bonded to the backing material and the first layer without using any special spraying or application means. The adhesive used for bonding the base fabric is applied by penetrating the back side, making it easy to process and lightweight overall.
And it can be supplied at low cost.
