【目的】本考案は、片手の操作で物入れ用のポリエチレ
ン製袋や、プラスチックフィルム製の書類ホルダ−又は
ケ−ス等の開口部を加熱溶着して封入できるハンドグリ
ップ式ヒ−トシ−ラ−に関するもので、衣服のポケット
やハンドバッグ、セカンドバッグ等に納められるきわめ
て小型軽量で携帯が便利であり、且つ熱抵抗の小さい加
熱体によって、小容量の乾電池で被溶着体への封入溶着
の作業が簡単確実に行えるようにしたことを目的とす
る。 【構成】グリップ本体を受台部と押圧体に分けて形成
し、その各基部を軸体で回動自在に結合し、受台部の先
端にスイッチ兼用の短寸のヒ−タ−パッド部を設け、そ
の押圧体先端のヒ−タ−パッド部に対峙する位置にパッ
ド挟圧部を設け、且つ受台部の凹溝形内部にバッテリ−
を収納し、前記パッド挟圧部を常時はヒ−タ−パッド部
の表面に対して多少離反しておくための弾性体を受台部
と押圧体の間に介在させたものである。

本考案は、片手の操作で物入れ用のポリエチレン製袋や、プラスチックフィル
ム製の書類ホルダ−又はケ−ス等の開口部を加熱溶着して封入できるハンドグリ
ップ式ヒ−トシ−ラ−に関するもので、衣服のポケットやハンドバッグ、セカン
ドバッグ等に納められるきわめて小型軽量で携帯が便利であり、且つ熱抵抗の小
さい加熱体によって、小容量の乾電池で被溶着体への封入溶着の作業が簡単確実
に行えるようにしたことを目的とする。

一般にポリ袋やプラスチックフィルムホルダ−等に必要な物を収納した後に、
その袋口その他の開口部を塞ぐのに業務用としてヒ−トシ−ラ−で溶着して封入
することは広く知られている。そして、その開口部の幅よりヒ−タ−パッド部の
幅を広く形成し、これに対峙するパッド挟圧部を具備して一度に袋体の幅広い開
口部であっても1回又は2・3回の操作で溶着できるようにしたものは知られて
いる。

これによって、被溶着体の開口部がどんなに幅広であっても、大抵は1回又は
2回位の挟圧加熱操作で封入溶着することができるが、これらのヒ−トシ−ラ−
は、据付け式又は卓上置式であるから、全体が大型になり重量が増して持ち運び
には不便である。また、加熱体の抵抗が大きいから、乾電池では間に合わず通常
は100Vの屋内配線を利用しているのが実情である。

そこで、考案の目的を達成し、且つ従来技術の課題を解決するために本考案は
、ハンドグリップ式ヒ−トシ−ラ−において、グリップ本体を受台部と押圧体に
分けて形成し、その各基部を軸体で回動自在に結合し、受台部の先端にスイッチ
兼用の短寸のヒ−タ−パッド部を設け、その押圧体先端のヒ−タ−パッド部に対
峙する位置にパッド挟圧部を設け、且つ受台部の凹溝形内部にバッテリ−を収納
し、前記パッド挟圧部を常時はヒ−タ−パッド部の表面に対して多少離反してお
くための弾性体を受台部と押圧体の間に介在させたものである。

上記の手段に基づく作用は次の通りである。まず、封入溶着しようとする被溶
着体の開口部をグリップ本体の受台部と押圧体で挟み、そのヒ−タ−パッド部と
パッド挟圧部の部位に位置させた後、グリップ本体を軽く握り込むとパッド挟圧
部が弾性体に抗してヒ−タ−パッド部に圧接して当該ヒ−タ−パッド部が押下さ
れ、バッテリ−がスイッチオンになる。すると、ヒ−タ−パッド部の加熱体が加
熱して重ねた被溶着体の開口部がシ−ルされる。この状態で加熱体の長さ方向に
グリップ本体をスライドしていくと、被溶着体は切れ目のない線状に封入溶着さ
れていく。

次に本考案に係るハンドグリップ式ヒ−トシ−ラ−の実施例を図面を以て説明
する。図1は正面図、図2は一部破断平面図、図3は図2の3−3線に沿う断面
図、図4は図3の4−4線に沿う断面図、図5は使用状態を示す斜視図を示す。
図において、1は硬質合成樹脂製のグリップ本体、2及び3はグリップ本体を
を構成する受台部と押圧体である。前記のグリップ本体1は、例えば長さL= 1
25mm、高さH=36mm、幅W=34mm程度の小型形状に設定するのを可とする。4は
前記受台部と押圧体の基部を相互に回動自在に結合するための軸体、5は受台部
2の先端に設けたスイッチ兼用の短い寸法lのニクロム線の加熱体を有するヒ−
タ−パッド部であり、図2において、ニクロム線の溶着加熱部の長さlは10mm
、太さ 0.1〜0.2 mm程度に設定してある。6は押圧体の先端にあるパッド挟圧部
であり、ヒ−タ−パッド部5に対峙する位置に設けてある。前記のヒ−タ−パッ
ド部は、段付き頭部を受台部2に成形した隆起部の角孔部 21 からわずかに突出
させておき、そのヒ−タ−パッド部の下部を小蓋 22 の筒状体 25 の中に圧縮ス
プリング10を入れ、常時は当該ヒ−タ−パッド部の端子 51 がバッテリ−側の端
子 71 に接しないように設定してある。
7は受台部の凹溝内部 22 に収納して底蓋 23 で閉塞したバッテリ−であり、
図示例は単3乾電池を4個収納したものを示す。
8は前記のパッド挟圧部6を常時はヒ−タ−パッド部5の表面に対して多少の
隙間g(具体的には2〜3mm) を形成保持しておくための弾性体であって、図示
例は板バネを用い、その基部を受台部に取付けて当該受台部と押圧体3の間に介
在させてある。図中9はヒ−タ−パッド部5及びパッド挟圧部6の表面に被せた
非導電性テ−プ片である。

上記実施例による具体的な使用例を説明すると、まず、グリップ本体を利き手
で軽く握り、且つ親指を伸ばして押圧体の3先端部位に当てがう。そして、封入
溶着しようとする袋体又はホルダ−若しくはケ−ス等の被溶着体Aの袋口等の開
口部A1 にグリップ本体1の受台部2と押圧体3で挟み、そのヒ−タ−パッド部
5とパッド挟圧部6の部位に位置させた後、グリップ本体1を握り込むようにし
て親指で押圧体の先端部を押下するとパッド挟圧部6が板バネ8に抗してヒ−タ
−パッド部5に圧接すると、同時に当該ヒ−タ−パッド部が少し降下し、その端
子 51 が乾電池7側の端子 71 に接してスイッチオンになる。これにより、ヒ−
ヒ−パッド部のニクロム線が加熱し、2枚又は複数枚重ねた被溶着体Aが溶融挟
圧によってシ−ルされる。この状態でニクロム線の長さlの方向にグリップ本体
1を挟圧した状態でスライドしていくと、袋体又はホルダ−若しくはケ−ス等の
被溶着体Aの開口部A1 は切れ目のない線状に溶着されていく。
また、別の方法としては、ヒ−タ−パッド部5とパッド挟圧部6の挟圧で被溶
着体の開口部A1 をシ−ルした瞬間にグリップ本体1の握り込みを解除してヒ−
タ−パッド部5とパッド挟圧部6を互いに離反させ、当該本体を多少の間隔を保
持して隣に移して再度グリップ本体をを握り込むようにして親指で押圧体を押下
して溶着し、以下順次同じ操作を繰り返すと、被溶着体の開口部は間欠的に溶着
される。
本考案は上記の構成であるから、ポリ袋やホルダ−等の袋口その他の開口部を
溶着して塞ぐのに、グリップ本体を片手で持って受台部と押圧体とで開口部を挟
んで軽く握り込むと、シ−リングパッドの熱源がスイッチオンしてニクロム線が
加熱され、開口部は溶着してシ−ルされる。そして、開口部全体をシ−ルするに
は2通りあり、その一つは、軽く握り込んだまま加熱体となるニクロム線の長さ
方向にスライドしていくと線状に溶着されて確実に封入される。また、もう一つ
は、シ−ルされた瞬間にグリップ本体の握り込みを解除して離反させた後、当該
本体を隣に移して再度グリップ本体を握り込むようにして親指で押圧体を押下し
て溶着し、以下順次同じ操作を繰り返すと、被溶着体の開口部は恰も目の粗いミ
シン縫い状に溶着され、内容物が確実に封入することができる。
そして、本考案のヒ−トシ−ラ−は、片手で持てるハンドグリップ式のきわめ
て小型軽量であるから、携帯に便利であると共に、ワンタッチで挟み込み及びそ
の解除ができるので操作が簡単である。
さらに、本考案のハンドグリップ式ヒ−トシ−ラ−は、加熱部の熱抵抗がきわ
めて小さいから、乾電池で溶着に必要な高熱が得られ、従ってその熱源は、市販
の単3乾電池を受台部に複数個内蔵することで済み、屋内配線に接続する電源コ
−ドが不要となり、コンセント等の有無の条件も不要であるから使用場所の制限
もなく、用途の拡大が図れる。

Claims (1)
- 【請求項1】 グリップ本体(1) を受台部(2) と押圧体
(3) に分けて形成し、その各基部を軸体(4) で回動自在
に結合し、受台部の先端にスイッチ兼用の短寸のヒ−タ
−パッド部(5) を設け、その押圧体先端のヒ−タ−パッ
ド部に対峙する位置にパッド挟圧部(6) を設け、且つ受
台部(2) の凹溝形内部にバッテリ−(7) を収納し、前記
パッド挟圧部を常時はヒ−タ−パッド部(5) の表面に対
して多少離反しておくための弾性体(8) を受台部(2) と
押圧体(3) の間に介在させたことを特徴とするハンドグ
リップ式ヒ−トシ−ラ−。
