The object to be plated 106 is hung on the object 10 to be plated.
6 and immersed in the metal solution in the plating tank.
Then, the terminal portion 102 is placed on the cathode side of the DC power supply,
In addition, an anode (not shown) separately installed in the solution
are connected to the anode side and energized to deposit a metal film on the surface of the object to be plated 106, which is the cathode side. When the object to be plated 106 has, for example, a corner 106a as shown in the figure, charge tends to concentrate on the corner 106a, so the auxiliary cathode 105 prevents this concentration and prevents the plating film from forming. This is provided for the purpose of equalization.

By the way, after the rack is used for plating, it must be transferred to a plating removal process to remove the plating film deposited on the current-carrying portion 104a at the tip of the support claw 104 and the auxiliary cathode 105.

04 and the auxiliary cathode 105 are integrated with the frame 101, and if the size of the object to be plated 106 is large, the entire rack is also large. Therefore, if a large number of racks are to be removed at the same time, a huge plating tank is required. There are issues that require it. Although it depends on the type of plating material, for example, in the case of lead plating, it may take several days until the lead attached to the support claws 104 and auxiliary cathode 105 is completely removed and the rack can be reused. Since it takes time, you must keep an extra number of racks for this amount of time. Moreover, depending on the shape and size of the object to be plated 106, the support claw 104 and the auxiliary cathode 10
Many types of racks with different protruding positions and shapes were required.

If the rack frame is provided with many connection parts for the support claws and the auxiliary cathode, the same rack can be connected by selecting the connection positions of the support claws and the auxiliary cathode according to the shape and size of the object to be plated. The bone frame can be used for plating many types of objects. Among the connection parts of the rack frame, an insulating seal member is attached to the connection parts that are not connected to the supporting claws and the auxiliary cathode to prevent the plating film from breaking out at the connection parts. In addition, when the object support claw and the auxiliary cathode are screwed and connected to the rack frame, the insulating flange of the object support claw and the auxiliary cathode comes into close contact with the insulating film around the connection part of the rack frame. No plating film is deposited on both screwed connections.

It is a rack bone frame consisting of 2 pieces.
A large number of female screw holes 5 are provided on the front surface of the immersion part 3 as connection parts which are not covered with the insulating film 4.
5... is formed. 6, 6... have a male screw part 7 as a connection part screwed into the female screw hole 5 at the base end, and a current-carrying part 8 which comes into contact with the object to be plated 26 to be described later at the tip, and these male screw parts 7 and a hook-shaped object support claw made of a conductor whose surface other than the current-carrying part 8 is covered with an insulating film 9, and 11, 11, . An auxiliary cathode 16, 16, . . . . is an insulating sealing member having a male screw portion 17 screwed into the female screw hole 5 and made entirely of an insulator, or having a head portion 18 covered with an insulating film. In addition, when the male screw portions 7 and 12 of the support claw 6 and the auxiliary cathode 11 are screwed into the female screw hole 5 of the rack frame 1, a screw is provided to prevent the plating solution from entering the screwed portion. A flange portion 10 is formed for this purpose. By the screwing, the support claw 6 and the auxiliary cathode 11 are connected to the rack frame 1 through conductors, and the screwed portion is a seal of the flange 10 covered with an insulating film. The female screw hole 5, in which the plating film is prevented from being deposited by the action, and the support claw 6 or the auxiliary cathode 11 is not connected to the female screw hole 5,
The screwing of the insulating seal member 16 prevents the plating film from being deposited.

1 is connected and fixed to the rack bone frame 1.
The flexible arm 19 inserts a connecting bolt 23 made of a conductor whose head 24 is covered with an insulating film 25 into the bolt insertion hole 20 at its base end.
3 into the female threaded hole 5 of the rack frame 1, the rack frame 1 is attached to a desired location. By screwing the male screw portion 7 or 12, which is the connecting portion of the support claw 6 or the auxiliary cathode 11, into the female screw hole 21 at the tip of the flexible arm 19, the support claw 6 and the auxiliary cathode 11 are connected to each other. The cathode 11 is electrically connected to the rack frame 1 via the flexible arm 19 and the connecting bolt 23. Since the attachment angle of the flexible arm 19 to the rack bone frame 1 can be adjusted, the fixing positions of the support claw 6 and the auxiliary cathode 11 can be changed as appropriate.

In the rack for fixing objects to be plated of the present invention, the supporting claws and the auxiliary cathode are detachably attached to the rack frame, and the connecting parts of the rack frame that are not connected to the supporting claws and the auxiliary cathode are plated with an insulating sealing member. The connection part where the support claw and the proximal connection part of the auxiliary cathode are screwed together prevents it from coming into contact with the solution, and the insulating flange of the support claw and the auxiliary cathode prevents it from coming into contact with the solution, making it easy to remove plating. In this case, only the supporting claws and the auxiliary cathode need to be removed, and there is no need for a huge removal tank for removing the entire rack frame as in the past. In addition, by changing the connection position of the support claw and auxiliary cathode and the mounting angle of the flexible arm, the same rack frame can be used to fix many types of objects to be plated, so there is no need to have a huge variety of rack frames. It will also disappear.
