として、容器の断面を3層に形成し、その中間層
をもつてガスバリヤー性の向上を図ることが試み

この発明は上記2軸配向容器における欠点を排
除するために考えられたものであつて、その目的
とするところは、中間層によつて断面が3層に形
成された2軸配向容器において、中間層をガスバ
リヤー性を有する合成樹脂とガラス繊維との混練
物により形成し、これにより従来の3層に形成さ
れた2軸配向容器よりも、 ガスバリヤー性と耐熱性とに優れた2軸配向容
器を提供することにある。

種の合成樹脂を同心円状にキヤビテイに射出して
成形した有底のパリソンを、延伸吹込成形して得
られた断面が3層のもので、内外層はポリエチレ
ンテレフタレートにより、また中間層はガラス繊
維を含むガスバリヤー性に優れた合成樹脂により
形成されている。

合成樹脂に含まれたガラス繊維6によつて形成さ
れている。
ーケン化物またはメタキシレン基含有ポリアミド
のガスバリヤー性に優れた合成樹脂と、それらの
合成樹脂に含まれたガラス繊維6によつて形成さ
れている。
この合成樹脂中のガラス繊維6は、長さ1〜4
m/mのもので、0.5〜20重量%の範囲にて含ま
れており、びん体1の物理的強度及び耐熱性を増
すとともに、ガスバリヤー性の向上にも寄与し、
中間層5によるバリヤー性を合成樹脂による場合
よりもさらに一層向上させている。しかし樹脂中
のガラス繊維の量が20重量%よりも多くなると、
射出成形した有底のパリソンの延伸吹込成形が困
難となり、また含有量が少ないと満足すべき効果
が得られなくなる。

すとともに、ガスバリヤー性の向上にも寄与し、
中間層5によるバリヤー性を合成樹脂による場合
よりもさらに一層向上させている。しかし樹脂中
のガラス繊維の量が20重量%よりも多くなると、
射出成形した有底のパリソンの延伸吹込成形が困
難となり、また含有量が少ないと満足すべき効果
が得られなくなる。
上記びん体1は、既に公知の手段をもつてきわ
めて容易に成形することができる。その成形は、
内外層4,4を形成する樹脂の中央に、ガラス繊
維を混練した中間層5の樹脂を位置させ、その両
方を同心円状にキヤビテイに射出して、断面が3
層の有底パリソンを成形することを始めとする。

されるびんの使用目的によつて異なり、内外層と
中間層の割合は射出量によつていかようにも調整
することができる。

上記びん体1はこのパリンソを通常の手段をも
つて軸方向に延伸し、更に空気圧をもつて膨脹す
ることによつて容易に成形することができる。

このような工程を得て成形されたガラス繊維入
りのびん体1では、ガラス繊維が内包された状態
にあつて、びん体1の表面には露出しないことか
ら、びんとしての外観は損われず、またびん体1
の底壁3における衝撃強度も増すことから、従来
自立びんとして成形されたびんよりも底部の構造
を簡素化することができる。

Claims (1)
- 1 2種の合成樹脂を同心円状にキヤビテイに射
出して有底のパリソンを成形し、そのパリソンを
延伸吹込成形して得られた断面が3層の2軸配向
容器において、その2軸配向容器の内外層をポリ
エチレンテレフタレートにより形成し、中間層は
長さ1〜4m/mのガラス繊維を0.5〜20重量%
の範囲にて含むエチレン酢酸ビニルコーポリマー
ケン化物またはメタキシレン基含有ポリアミドの
ガスバリヤー性を有する合成樹脂により形成して
なることを特徴とする耐熱性及びガスバリヤー性
に優れた2軸配向容器。
