Claims (1)

    【実用新案登録請求の範囲】
  1. 原稿台に対する光学系の相対的な走査方向に設
    けられたガイド部材上に上記原稿台若しくは上記
    光学系を該ガイド部材に沿つて往復移動可能に配
    備し、上記原稿台若しくは上記光学系を往動させ
    て該原稿台上に載置された原稿を該光学系により
    走査すると共に、その後、上記原稿台若しくは上
    記光学系を復動させるようにした画像形成装置に
    おいて、上記原稿台若しくは上記光学系に、該原
    稿台若しくは該光学系を支持して該ガイド部材に
    接触される回転部材を配備すると共に、上記回転
    部材に、上記原稿台若しくは上記光学系の往動時
    には該回転部材に所定の摩擦力を付与し、上記原
    稿台若しくは上記光学系の復動時には該回転部材
    に対する所定の摩擦力を解除する摩擦力制御機構
    を設けたことを特徴とする画像形成装置。
