【発明の詳細な説明】
〈産業上の利用分野〉
本発明は自動車、電車等の車輌、航空機、船舶
あるいは家具ソフアなどに使用されるシートの製

〈従来の技術〉
上記のようなシートは発泡成形されたポリウレ
タンフオーム等のクツシヨン体に表皮が被覆され
て製造されている。このシートの製造は、発泡成
形型に発泡原液を注入してシート形状のクツシヨ
ン体を成形し、成形されたクツシヨン体を型から
取り出した後、クツシヨン体の外面に表皮を接着
することで行われている(特公昭59−40037号)。
この方法は表皮がクツシヨン体に確実に密着して
一体化するため、複雑な凹凸面を有する形状であ
つても成形が可能となり、シートのデザイン上の
自由度が拡大すると共に、表皮にしわが生じ難

〈発明が解決しようとする問題点〉
上記の方法においては、クツシヨン体を発泡成
形型から取り出すのに際し、前以つて発泡成形型
内面に脱型用の離型剤を塗布することが行われて
いる。従つて、第4図に示すように型から取り出
したクツシヨン体7の外面には離型剤8がある程
度、付着する。しかしながら、離型剤8は接着剤
とその性質を逆にするため、表皮の接着の際に悪
影響を及ぼしている。このため表皮の接着前には
クツシヨン体に付着した離型剤を除去する工程が
必要となり、工程数が多くなつている。しかもク
ツシヨン体が複雑な形状の場合には離型剤の除去
が難しく、作業性が低下しており、完全に除去で
きない箇所が残ると、表皮の接着不良部分が生じ

〈問題点を解決するための手段〉
上記目的を達成するため本発明は、離型剤の代
替として発泡成形時に失活状態にあるホツトメル
ト型接着剤を使用すると共に、このホツトメルト
型接着剤を利用して表皮とクツシヨン体とを接着
するようにしたものである。すなわち本発明に係
るシートの製造方法は、発泡成形型の内面に発泡
成形時に失活状態にあるホツトメルト型接着剤か
らなる接着層を形成した後、前記発泡成形型内で
発泡原液を発泡して外面に前記接着層が一体化さ
れたクツシヨン体を成形し、このクツシヨン体に
表皮を被覆し接着層を加熱溶融してクツシヨン体

〈実施例〉
以下、本発明を図示した実施例に基づいて具体

本発明はクツシヨン体の発泡成形に先立つて、
発泡成形時に失活状態にあるホツトメルト型接着
剤からなる接着層を発泡成形型の内面に形成す
る。第1図はこの工程の断面図を示している。発
泡成形型1は下型2と上型3とからなり、下型2
にシートの上面形状に合致する発泡室4が形成さ
れ、上型3にシートの裏面形状に合致する凹凸部
分が形成されている。従つて、下型2に上型3を
組み付けると、シートの外形々状に相当するキヤ
ビテイが形成される。ホツトメルト型接着剤から
なる接着層5は下型2の発泡室4内面に形成され
る。この接着層5はホツトメルト型接着剤をフイ
ルム状あるいはウエブ状に形成し、これらを発泡
室4内面にセツトすることで行われる。ここで、
ウエブ状の場合には接着層5と発泡成形型との接
触面積が小さいため、発泡されたクツシヨン体の
脱型が容易となる。又、接着層5の形成はホツト
メルトフイルムを栽断してセツトしてもよいし、
ホツトメルト型接着剤を適宜の溶媒に溶解あるい
は分散させ、これを発泡成形型にスプレーした
り、刷毛等で塗布し、その後、溶媒を揮散させる
ことにより形成してもよい。スプレー塗布等の場
合には溶媒の揮散時間が必要となるが、接着層5
が発泡成形型の全面に均一に形成できるメリツト
がある。なお、第1図々示の場合には、接着層5
が下型2の上面部分、すなわち発泡成形されるク
ツシヨン体の着座部分、だけに形成されている
が、これに限らず、下型2の内面全体あるいは上

ツシヨン体6の脱型が容易となる。かかる脱型後
は、第3図に示すように、クツシヨン体6の着座
部分に接着層5が一体化しており、クツシヨン体
6に接着剤を塗布した場合と同等の状態となつて
いる。従つて、脱型後のクツシヨン体6に表皮
(図示せず)を被覆し、その後、接着層5部分を
加熱すると、接着層5が溶融して接着力が付与さ
れるから表皮とクツシヨン体6との接着が良好
に、しかも確実に行われる。これにより、複雑な
形状のシートでもクツシヨン体と表皮とが確実に

成形型内面に形成して、離型剤を省略したから離
型剤の悪影響がなくな、離型剤除去の必要もなく
なる。又、接着層を加熱してクツシヨン体と表皮
とを接着したから、シートの成形が容易となり、
形状選択の自由度も拡大する。また、本発明のホ
ツトメルト型接着剤は発泡成形時に失活状態にあ
る高融点のものが使用されるので、成形後のシー
トの耐熱性も向上し使用時に接着剤がにじみ出す
