図である。 図中、１はシート、３はアプリケータロール、
４は塗料、５はメータリングロール、６はギヤツ
プ、１１はアクチユエータ、１６は制御装置、２
１は遊隙吸収ばね（遊隙吸収手段）、２２，２３
は中心軸線、２４は面、２５はアプリケータロー
ル位置検出センサ、２６はメータリングロール位
置検出センサを示す。

第５図は従来のロールコータの他の例を示す平面
図である。 図中、１はシート、３はアプリケータロール、

Claims (1)
- シートに当接して回転すると共に塗料を受け取
り該塗料を前記シートに塗布するアプリケータロ
ールと、該アプリケータロールと平行に設けられ
アクチユエータによつて該アプリケータロールに
接近離反され該アプリケータロールとの間のギヤ
ツプにより前記シートに塗布する前記塗料の厚さ
を調整する前記アプリケータロールより長いメー
タリングロールと、前記アプリケータロールとメ
ータリングロールとを互に離反する方向に常時付
勢する遊隙吸収手段と、前記アプリケータロール
の中心軸線とメータリングロールの中心軸線とを
結ぶ面上における前記メータリングロールのアプ
リケータロール側表面位置を検出するメータリン
グロール位置検出センサと、前記アプリケータロ
ールの中心軸線とメータリングロールの中心軸線
とを結ぶ面上近傍における前記アプリケータロー
ルの反メータリングロール側表面位置を検出する
アプリケータロール位置検出センサと、前記メー
タリングロール位置検出センサの検出値と前記ア
プリケータロール位置検出センサの検出値とから
前記メータリングロールとアプリケータロールと
の間のギヤツプを検出し該検出したギヤツプと予
め設定したギヤツプの設定値とを比較して両者間
の偏差を無くすように前記アクチユエータを作動
させる制御装置と、を備えたことを特徴とするロ
ールコータ。
