In this case, the living cells in the culture cell are irradiated with a laser beam, but the living cells must be placed within the focal plane of the laser beam, and in order to irradiate the laser while the cells are alive, they must be immersed in the culture medium. It is necessary that the However, since the culture solution has low transmittance to ultraviolet light, the cells are attached to a cover glass such as a quartz plate and a laser is irradiated through the plate. The culture cell used in this case has the form shown in FIG. 3, which is a longitudinal cross-sectional view, and FIG. 4, which is a cross-sectional view thereof. As shown in the figure, this cell culture cell 11 is provided with an opening 13 in addition to a culture solution injection solution 12 for injecting a culture solution into the cell, and living cells 14 are planted in advance in this opening 13. A cover glass 15 is provided via a rubber packing 16. In use, the culture cell 11 is raised, the culture solution 17 is filled into the cell 11 through the culture solution inlet 12, and the culture solution inlet 2 is plugged with a stopper 18. This is placed under a microscope 19 as shown, and a laser beam 20 focused on the culture cell 1 by the microscope 19 is irradiated onto the cover glass 15, that is, the living cells.

(Problem that the invention aims to solve) However, in this cell culture cell, cells are planted on a cover glass, but in the case of bacterial cells, plant cells, etc., the cells do not attach to the cover glass and are suspended in the culture medium. It is difficult to place living cells in the laser beam focal plane because they do not precipitate. The purpose of the present invention is to provide a cell culture cell for laser beam irradiation that is suitable for arranging living cells such as bacterial cells and plant cells that float in a culture medium and do not precipitate within the focal plane of a laser beam. do.

(Means for solving the problem) The above-mentioned problem is that a convex section is provided around which the culture solution tank is formed, and the upper surface of this convex section is lower than the upper edge of the outer periphery of the culture solution tank. This problem can be solved by using a low culture cell and sandwiching the living cells between the top surface of the convex part of the culture cell and a cover glass.

(Operations and Effects) That is, since the living cells are sandwiched between the upper surface of the convex portion of the culture cell and the cover glass, the living cells are placed within the focal plane of the laser beam without floating in the culture solution.

The cell culture cell 1 according to the present invention has a convex section 2, and a culture solution tank 3 is formed around the convex section 2. The upper surface of the convex portion 2 is lower than the upper edge of the outer periphery of the culture solution tank 3 by the diameter of the cell (H
=0.01~0.05mm) is formed. In use, as shown in FIG. 1, after pouring the culture solution into the culture solution tank 3, the culture solution containing the living cells 5 is dripped onto the upper surface of the convex portion 2, and then the cover glass 6 is placed in the cell culture tank. Install it on cell 1. The living cells 5 are sandwiched between the upper surface of the convex portion 2 and the cover glass 6, and are kept moistened with the culture solution 5. When such a state is achieved, it becomes possible to place a large number of living cells in the focal plane of the laser beam 9 focused by the microscope 8, even if the living cells are bacterial cells or plant cells. .
