Abstract

PURPOSE:To save labor for work to precisely form an abutting joint portion on a glass member so as to reduce the cost of a lens body by forming the abutting joint portion at the extended portion of a resin layer. CONSTITUTION:In a lens body 10, an aspheric surface-like resin layer 14 made up of ultraviolet setting resin is formed on a junction face 12a or the surface of a glass member having a concave surface. In this lens body 10, the abutting joint 10a of the lens body 10 is made up of a flat portion 14b and a circumferential face 14c. As the abutting joint 10a and the resin layer 14 are integrally formed, it is possible for the abutting joint 10a to be formed concurrently when the aspheric-surface-like resin layer 14 is formed on the junction face 12a of the glass member 12. It is thereby possible to form the flat portion 14b and the external circumferential face 14c to position an optical functional portion surface 14a of the resin layer 14 and the lens body 10 referring to a lens barrel 16 by one continuous molding face of a die member. It is therefore possible to precisely mold the positional relation among the surface 14a of the optical functional portion and the flat portion 14b and the external circumferential face 14c so that the lens body can be accurately positioned in the lens barrel 16.

2. Description of the Related Art Conventionally, there has been known a method of forming a thin film made of a resin material on the surface of a glass member to form a lens having an aspherical shape that is difficult to process using glass material. A lens molded by such a method is generally called a replica lens.

In this replica lens, conventionally, as shown in FIG. 3, an aspherical surface shape is formed on the surface 30a of a glass member 30 having a barreled portion 30b on the outer periphery in an area that does not overlap the barreled portion 30b. The resin layer 32 having the following properties was formed.

However, in the above-mentioned conventional example, it is necessary to process the outer peripheral part of the glass member 30 into a flange shape as a flange-like part 30b, as shown in the figure. Because it comes into contact with the positioning portion of the lens barrel and performs the function of positioning this replica lens with respect to the lens barrel, it must be processed with high precision. Therefore, there is a problem in that processing the glass member 30 takes time and effort, leading to an increase in the cost of the replica lens.

First, before explaining a lens body according to an embodiment, a general outline of a molding method for molding an optical element such as this lens body will be explained. This molding method for forming optical elements such as lens bodies forms a shape on the surface of the glass material that is difficult to process with glass material. A resin layer made of a resin material and having a desired complex surface shape is formed on the surface of the member. For example, like the lens body of this embodiment, an aspherical lens can be created by molding an aspherical resin film on the surface of a glass member processed into a spherical shape, and combining glass and resin materials. One example is creating. In other words, in order to provide a lens body with aberrations corrected by a single lens, it is necessary to make the surface shape of the lens body aspherical, but it is not easy to process glass material into an aspherical shape. Since it is difficult to obtain lens power with a lens body using a resin that can be easily molded into an aspherical shape, by combining the two, it is attempted to take advantage of only the advantages of both. The lens body manufactured in this way is called a replica lens.

An example of a lens body will be described below. In FIG. 1, a lens body 10 has an aspherical resin layer 14 made of an ultraviolet curable resin formed on a bonding surface 12a, which is the surface of a glass member 12 having a concave surface, and is a replica lens as described above. It is a type of In this lens body 10, a flat part 14 perpendicular to the optical axis of the lens body 10 is provided on the outside of the optically functional part of the resin layer 14 (the part inside the effective diameter of the light ray), in a part where the resin layer 14 is extended.
b is formed, and this flat portion 14b is connected to the lens barrel 1.
This lens body 10 can be positioned with respect to the lens barrel 16 by making it come into contact with the positioning portion 16a of No. 6. Further, the outer circumferential surface 14c of the resin layer 14 is formed to have an outer diameter dimension that fits with the inner circumferential surface 16b of the lens barrel 16, so that when the lens body 10 is attached to the lens barrel 16, the outer circumferential surface 14c of the lens body 10 is The center of the optical axis can be made to coincide with the center of the optical axis of the lens barrel 16. and,
The flat portion 14b and the outer circumferential surface 14c constitute a barreled portion 10a of the lens body.

Here, since the shelled portion 10a is formed integrally with the resin layer 14 as described above, the glass member 1
It is possible to form the aspherical resin layer 14 at the same time when forming the aspherical resin layer 14 on the joint surface 12a of the two joint surfaces 12a. Therefore, the surface 14a of the optically functional part of the resin layer 14, the flat part 14b and the outer peripheral surface 14c for positioning the lens body 10 with respect to the lens barrel 16 are formed by one continuous molding surface of the mold member. It is formed. Therefore, the positional relationship between the surface 14a of the optical function part, the plane part 14b and the outer circumferential surface 14c is molded with extremely high precision, and when this lens body 10 is assembled into the lens barrel 16, the resin layer 14
The position in the optical axis direction and the position in the direction orthogonal to the optical axis are accurately positioned with respect to the lens barrel 16.

[0014] Furthermore, since the shelled portion 10a, which was conventionally formed on the glass member 12 side, is formed on the resin layer 14 side,
This shelled portion 10a is formed simultaneously and easily with the optical function portion of the resin layer 14. Therefore, the glass member 12
This makes it possible to omit the troublesome processing of forming a barreled portion on the lens body 10, thereby making it possible to reduce the cost of the lens body 10.

(Another Embodiment) FIG. 2 shows another embodiment of the present invention, in which a lens body having a convex surface is assembled into a lens barrel. . In Figure 2,
A resin layer 24 and a lens body 2 are formed on the joint surface 22a of the glass member 22 having a convex surface, as in the lens body 10 of one embodiment.
The body part 20a of 0 is integrally formed. Therefore, the lens body 20 having a convex surface also has the same effect as the one embodiment, and the lens body 20 is connected to the lens barrel 2.
6, it is possible to accurately position the resin layer 24 in the optical axis direction and in the direction perpendicular to the optical axis with respect to the lens barrel 26. In addition, the glass member 2
Since it is not necessary to form the barreled portion 20a on the lens body 20, the cost of the lens body 20 can be reduced.
