自在な減圧弁を配設して、エンジン始動時のシリ
ンダ内の圧縮力を減じて始動操作を容易にするエ
ンジンの始動減圧装置において、 上記減圧弁の開閉動作手段にピストン部を連設
するとともに、このピストン部を往復自在に内包
する筒状空気室を設け、且つこの筒状空気室の一
端に該筒状空気室からその外部方向へ圧縮空気を
逃がす方向にのみ作用する一方向弁を配設してな
り、この一方向弁の開閉動作圧力が、エンジンの
圧縮圧力近傍の圧力域では閉状態を維持し、エン
ジンの爆発圧力近傍の圧力域では開動作するよう
な圧力に設定されていることを特徴とするエンジ
ンの始動減圧装置。 (2) 請求項第1項記載のエンジンの始動減圧装
置において、前記減圧弁の開閉動作手段に、エン
ジン冷却用の冷却風を通路を介して導き、エンジ
ン運転時に該減圧弁が開動作するのを阻止するよ
う構成したことを特徴とするエンジンの始動減圧
装置。 (3) 請求項第1項記載のエンジンの始動減圧装
置において、前記減圧弁の、一端が燃焼室内側と
連通し減圧動作時に該シリンダ内の圧力空気を逃
