従来の裏当金を示す部分拡大正面図である。 図中１は横型ミル、２は円筒形胴部、４はトラ
ニオン、７はトラニオン管、９はトラニオンシー
ル構造、１０はシールリング、１２はシールボツ
クス、１４はガスケツト、１５′は裏当金、１７
′は内周側、１８′は舌片を示す。

Claims (1)
- 円筒形胴部の軸線方向端部に接続された中空状
のトラニオンの軸線方向端面にシールリングを取
付け、前記トラニオン内に、該トラニオン内に回
転しないよう支持されたトラニオン管を挿通し、
該トラニオン管外周に、内部が前記円筒形胴部内
部及びトラニオン内部と連通し、且つ、トラニオ
ンの軸線方向端面に面した側に開口部が形成され
たトラニオンシールボツクスを固着し、該トラニ
オンシールボツクスの開口部に前記シールリング
の端面に対し接触し得るリング状のガスケツト及
び該ガスケツトを前記シールリングの端面に取付
け得るリング状の裏当金を設けた横型ミルのトラ
ニオンシール構造において、前記裏当金の内周側
を周方向へ所要の間隔で放射状に切断して複数の
舌片を形成し該舌片の裏当金径方向中途部の幅を
内周側の幅より小さくしたことを特徴とする横型
ミルのトラニオンシール構造。
