Description
Claims (24)
- 1.光パルス源、光パルスをウェーブガイドに送出する手段及びウェーブガイド に送出される前にパルス波長のゲインを向上させるために光学的に励起されたウ ェーブガイドによって増幅された光パルスをテストのために送出する手段からな る広帯域伝送装置の特性を光学的に計測する装置。
- 2.光パルスゲインは、ウェーブガイドに沿って外側方向及び戻り方向に移動さ れる時に生じる請求項1記載の広帯域伝送装置の特性を光学的に計測する装置。
- 3.上記ゲインが生じるウェーブガイドは、伝送装置の特性を光学的に計測する 装置内部に位置されている請求項1または2記載の広帯域伝送装置の特性を光学 的に計測する装置。
- 4.上記ウェーブガイドは、5乃至7μmの範囲内のコア直径を有するファイバ からなる上記いずれかの請求項に記載の広帯域伝送装置の特性を光学的に計測す る装置。
- 5.上記ウェーブガイドは、全長に亘って希金属が添加されている上記いずれか の請求項に記載の広帯域伝送装置の特性を光学的に計測する装置。
- 6.上記ファイバは、エルビウムが参加されている請求項5記載の広帯域伝送装 置の特性を光学的に計測する装置。
- 7.上記励起出力は、少なくとも10mWである上記いずれかの請求項に記載の 広帯域伝送装置の特性を光学的に計測する装置。
- 8.上記励起出力は、少なくとも65mWである上記いずれかの請求項に記載の 広帯域伝送装置の特性を光学的に計測する装置。
- 9.上記励起出力は、少なくとも100mWである上記いずれかの請求項に記載 の広帯域伝送装置の特性を光学的に計測する装置。
- 10.光学的に励起するための手段は、半導体レーザからなる上記いずれかの請 求項に記載の広帯域伝送装置の特性を光学的に計測する装置。
- 11.上記パルス源は、半導体レーザからなる上記いずれかの請求項に記載の広 帯域伝送装置の特性を光学的に計測する装置。
- 12.上記パルス源と上記ゲインが生じるウェーブガイドとの間の光路に、中心 波長がパルス源の発振波長と同一で0.5nm乃至1.0nmの帯域を有するフ ィルタを含む、上記いずれかの1つの請求項に記載の広帯域伝送装置の特性を光 学的に計測する装置。
- 13.光パルス源は、分布帰還レーザ[distributed feedba cklaser]からなる上記請求項11に従属する上記請求項12に記載の広 帯域伝送装置の特性を光学的に計測する装置。
- 14.ウェーブガイドに光パルスを送出しウェーブガイドに送出される前に光学 的に励起されたウェーブガイドによってゲインが引出されたパルスをテストのた めに送出する方法による広帯域伝送装置の特性を光学的に計測する装置の計測レ ンジを増大する方法。
- 15.光パルスゲインは、ウェーブガイドに沿って外側方向及び戻り方向に移動 される請求項14に記載の方法。
- 16.上記ゲインが生じるウェーブガイドは、広帯域伝送装置の特性を光学的に 計測する装置内部に位置されている請求項14に記載の方法。
- 17.上記ウェーブガイドは、5乃至7μmの範囲内のコア直径を有するファイ バからなる請求項14,15または16に記載の方法。
- 18.上記ウェーブガイドは、全長に亘って希金属が添加されている請求項14 ,15,16または17に記載の方法。
- 19.上記希金属はエルビウムである請求項18記載の方法。
- 20.上記励起出力は、少なくとも10mWである請求項14乃至19のいずれ かに記載の方法。
- 21.上記励起出力は、少なくとも65mWである請求項14乃至19のいずれ かに記載の方法。
- 22.上記励起出力は、少なくとも100mWである請求項14乃至19のいず れかに記載の方法。
- 23.パルス源は、半導体レーザからなる請求項14乃至22のいずれかに記載 の方法。
