[Industrial Application Field] The present invention relates to a tennis counter, and particularly to an improvement of a tennis counter having a predetermined display section for arbitrarily displaying at least the number of points of tennis matches and the number of games. [Prior Art] Due to the rapid increase in the number of tennis enthusiasts in recent years, tennis matches are frequently held in various places, but the scoring system and other rules such as court changes and service order in tennis matches are relatively complex. Therefore, there is a strong demand for a counter for displaying the records necessary for the progress of the game. In particular, in general tennis matches, it is rare for an experienced referee to lead the match, and the matches are conducted by general tennis players who are not familiar with the rules, so mistakes in calculations, misunderstandings, etc. often occur. The problem was that it became impossible to apply the correct rules. In response to such demands, portable counters for wristwatches, for example, have been proposed in the past, and Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 58-130066 is known as an example of this type. According to this conventional device, score counts in various games involving court changes, such as tennis, are sequentially displayed on the display section for each opponent, and these displays can be exchanged between the left and right sides each time a court change is made. It is also extremely useful as a counter. [Problems to be Solved by the Invention] Conventional Problems However, in the conventional devices described above, the tennis counter is provided with a display section to display points or number of games, and in normal cases, a display section is provided with a liquid crystal or light emitting diode. A 7-segment display element such as the following is used. In order to perform a desired number of displays using such 7-segment elements, a display decoder consisting of a combination of logic circuits is used, and although these display decoders are integrated circuits, their structure is complex;
There is a problem in that the tennis counter circuit has a circuit section that is too large to be ignored, and there has been a strong demand for the simplification of such a display decoder. Purpose of the invention The present invention was devised in view of the above-mentioned conventional problems, and its purpose is to simplify the display decoder for displaying points, thereby reducing the cost and current consumption of tennis counters. An object of the present invention is to provide an improved tennis counter that can perform the following functions. [Means and effects for solving the problem] In order to achieve the above object, the present invention provides points in a tennis match such as "0", "15", "30",
Limited to 4 types of display of "40", the first digit of which is "0"
Focusing on the fact that there are only two types, ``5'' and ``5'', the present invention is characterized by providing a switching circuit that only switches between these two types of display when the first digit of points is displayed. [Embodiments] Preferred embodiments of the present invention will be described below based on the drawings. First, the rules of the tennis game to which the present invention is applied will be briefly explained. 1 game is 0 (love), 15 (fiftine), 30
If the first player to win 4 points (saartei), 40 (fuotei), and game over becomes a 3-point pair of 40 and 40, it becomes a deuse, and one of them wins 2 points in a row in the order of advantage and game over. It is established by One set is established by winning six games first, and one match is determined by winning a predetermined number of sets first. When each set is established, a two-game difference in a 5-on-5 game pair is a condition for establishing one set, and various different rules have been established for this. Further, as the game progresses, service rights and court rights are allocated to each opponent before the start of the match, court changes are made after every odd game, and serve rights are changed after each game. Also, the service position must be changed alternately for each point. Based on the above rules, the tennis counter in this embodiment is configured to satisfy these rules, and the counter can assist in the progress of the match within each set. FIG. 1 shows a schematic configuration of a tennis counter according to the present invention, which is placed in the hands of a referee.
Alternatively, it includes a display body 10 that can be worn on the referee's arm or the like. This display body 10 has a display part 12 capable of selectively displaying the number of points of a match and the number of games disposed approximately in the center thereof, and according to the embodiment, as shown in FIG. The display section 12 consists of diodes, liquid crystals, and other display elements a-g.
A two-digit numerical display is configured in each of the left and right divided display areas. The display body 10 is further provided with a service position display section that is characteristic of this embodiment, and in this embodiment, when the display section 12 is likened to a tennis court, four service positions are provided as 14a to 14d. and these four service location display parts 1
By lighting or blinking any one of 4, the service location can be indicated to the user. Furthermore, the display body 10 of the embodiment has a coat display section 16.
Including a and 16b, when the opponents are A and B,
The court of each opponent can be designated by a chance judgment of the number of games. Further, in the embodiment, this court display section 16 is also used to display an advantage, and this can be notified by changing the normal lighting display to a blinking display depending on the opponent's advantage. As is clear from the figure, the input section 18 of the device has five
These include a game start button 20, a left input button 22 for the opponent on the left as seen from the referee, and a right input button 2.
4, a correction button 26, and a reset button 28, each of which input signals are waveform-shaped by a chattering prevention circuit 30 and then outputted to each processing circuit. The points of the opponents obtained from the input section are counted by a point counter 32, and the number of games each player has obtained is counted by a game counter 34 in response to a game over signal according to a predetermined rule. The point decoder 36 determines whether the four points are taken first, advantageously, or unused, and a predetermined determination signal is outputted to the point 1 game switching circuit 38 due to game over. In this embodiment, a courtside switching circuit 40 is provided to display the courtside by the court display section 16, and this allows the initial court setting and subsequent court settings according to the number of acquired games. A switching signal is output. Displays of the number of points and the number of games accompanying the match signal are supplied from the display decoder 42 to the display section 12 of the display body 10 via the driver 44, and in the embodiment, the number of points or the number of games is selectively displayed on the display section 12. will be displayed in numbers. Further, as described above, the advantage is given by flashing the court display on the court display section 16a or 16b of the corresponding side. The characteristic feature of this embodiment is that the display body 10
As mentioned above, the service position display section 14 is provided within the device, and in contrast, the device has a service position selection circuit 46, which makes a coincidence judgment of the number of games and the number of points as the match progresses. A service position signal according to a predetermined rule is outputted, and a desired display signal is supplied from the court/service position display circuit 48 to the service position display unit 14 via the driver 44. Further, a court display signal and an advantage display signal are supplied from the court/service position display circuit 48 to the court display section 16 via the driver 44. Below, the configuration and operation of each circuit shown in FIG. 1 will be explained in sequence based on the progress of an actual game. Initializing the Tennis Counter To initialize the tennis counter, first, when the reset button 28 of the input section 18 is turned on, the flip-flop (hereinafter referred to as FF) 50 of the service position selection circuit shown in FIG. 3 is activated by the input signal CL. All counter reset signal CLH is output, and each circuit, especially the point counter and game counter, is reset. At this time, in FIG. 3, the FF 52 has been reset at the same time, and a code signal A3 for indicating a service position, which will be described later, is set to "0" as the output of the exclusive OR gate 54. The service position display includes this exclusive or gate 54, other exclusive or gates 56 that accept point input, and a gate group 58,
A predetermined service position signal is output from the court signal A3 , which changes as the game progresses, and the point input A4 in each game. Further, the serve position selection circuit 46 is provided with a quaternary counter 66 and exclusive OR gates 68 and 70 to output a court signal.
At initialization, this quaternary counter 66 is also reset, and as a result, the counter outputs A 1 , A 2 and the OR gate 70 are output from the OR gate 68 output A 5 .
The court player selection signal CPS at the output of the above FF
Since A 0 , which is the output of 52, is “0”,
CPS is "0", and in this state, the first
In the display 10 in the figure, the right court display section 16a displays the opponent A, and the left court display section 16b displays the opponent B. Table 1 shows the state of the court player selection signal CPS for each counter output A 1 , A 2 and OR gate output.
A 5 indicates the state that changes sequentially at the time of initialization and after the start of each game, and each output is determined by the court selection described below, that is, A 0 starts from "0" or "1". It is selected accordingly. Court Selection As mentioned above, by initialization, the right court is always set to A and the left court to B, but when the court and service are determined by the opponent's "toss", the initial setting is “B-
A" court display can be changed arbitrarily,
With this court selection, the match starts. Figure 4 shows the coat selection effect at this time.
After being initialized at time t 0 , if the initialized state of the coat can be left as it is, the left input button 22 is pressed and the signal is input via the OR gate 51 by inputting the signal PL (time t 1 ).
The FF 50 is reset, and the all counter reset signal CLH cancels each reset signal, making it possible to start accepting signals. And at this time, FF
52 does not change its state, resulting in A 0
is held at the "0" state, and the match is started with the court player selection signal CPS also remaining at "0". On the other hand, the court at the start of the match was marked by the opponent "A".
-B", turn on the right input button 28 as shown at time t2 in FIG. At the same time, the FF 52 is set, its output A0 is set to "1", and the court player selection signal CPS is set to "1" to change the court. Inputting Points Once the match is initialized and court selection is performed as described above, the match starts, and individual points are entered as the match progresses.
Note that the display of the service position prior to the start of the match and the display of changing the service position will be described later. For point input, use the left input button 22 of the input section 18
Alternatively, it is performed by turning on the right input button 28 according to the points of the opponent on the left or right court, respectively. These point input signals PL and PR have no effect on the service position selection circuit 46 since the FF 50 has already been reset and the AND gate 72 has been closed. A point counter 32 and a point decoder 36 are shown in FIG. 5, and the point counter 32 includes an A counter 80 and a B counter 82, and each A counter 80 displays a display on one opponent's side of the display section 12. and the B counter 82
displays the opponent on the other side. Further, each up input terminal U of both counters 80 and 82 is connected to the input buttons 22 and 28 from an addition control circuit 84 for points via a score distribution circuit 86.
Point signals PL and PR obtained from are supplied,
A signal that increases by one point is output to that output. The score distribution circuit 86 correctly distributes the points to predetermined counters 80 and 82 for each opponent even when the opponent's position changes due to initial court selection and court change. Court player selection signal of selection circuit
Switched by CPS. That is, as shown by the solid line in FIG. 5, when CPS is "1", the left point signal PL is supplied to the B counter 82, the right point signal PR is supplied to the A counter 80, and is added.
On the other hand, when the court is changed and the CPS becomes "0", the supply of both point inputs becomes opposite, as shown by the broken line. As described above, the points of each court player are added by both counters 80 and 82, but as shown in Table 2, the output at this time is that the signal of the 1st digit is PCA0 and the signal of the 10th digit is PCA0. The signal is indicated by PCA1, and the same is true for the other counter 82 side. Deuse and Advantage The points of both counters 80 and 82 are both 40.
When a pair of , a due use is declared according to the rules, but in this embodiment, this state is a state in which all outputs of the 1st digit and 10th digit of both counters 80 and 82 are "1", This state is AND gate 88
, the addition by the addition control circuit 84 is prohibited, and subsequent addition of one point is prevented from causing an immediate game over. The output of AND gate 88 also triggers AND gates 92 and 94 of advantage detection circuit 90. Since both AND gates 92 and 94 are each supplied with the output of the point distribution circuit 86, the advantage FF 96 or 98 is set by the point input of either opponent obtained following this dual use state. Each corresponding side of addition control circuit 84 is opened. Therefore, when points are accumulated from this advantage state, since the addition control circuit 84 is open only for the advantage player, the corresponding counter 80 or 8
2, increments the counter value by 1, and becomes the winner A.
In addition to outputting the signal WA or the winner B signal WB, the game end signal GE is output from the or gate 100.
Output. The advantage circuit 90 outputs the advantage display signal ADA or ADB, thereby controlling the blinking of the display on the court display section 16 as described above (16b in FIG. 6). When the opponent on the opposite side scores in the advantageous state, the FF 96 or 98 indicating an advantage is reset again, the advantage display disappears, and the opening on one side of the addition control circuit 84 is closed, so the game becomes a reuse state again and the game begins. progresses. Point display Both counters 80 of the point counter 32,
PCA0, PCB0 and PCA1, PCB by 82
1, four types of signals corresponding to each point as shown in Table 2 are obtained, and in order to display the two-digit points 00, 15, 30, and 40 on the display unit 12, a point decoder is used. 36 are provided. In this embodiment, this point decoder is subjected to special processing in order to simplify the circuit configuration together with a display decoder 42 to be described later. In other words, even when using the 7-segment display as shown in Figure 2, the display used for tennis points is extremely limited in numerical display, and in particular, the display of the first digit is "0" and "5". There are only two types, and there are only four types for the 10th digit, so
Point decoder 36 is formed from a combination of AND gates 102, 104, 106 and OR gate 108 for each opponent, and outputs signals PA0 to PA3 shown in Table 2, respectively. Here, PA0 is used to display the 1st digit, and the remaining PA1 to PA3 are used to display the 10th digit. Therefore, there is an advantage that a desired display can be obtained with a simple circuit. Game Counter and Points/Game Switching When the game is won or lost by the first to win 4 points or the first to win 2 points after 4 points, the game counter 34 performs counting, and the display unit 1
2 is switched to display the number of games acquired by each opponent. FIG. 7 shows a preferred embodiment of game counter 34, which includes an A game counter 110 and a B game counter 112. A feature of this embodiment is that when a game over occurs due to incorrect counter operation, it is possible to easily restore the original state.
For this purpose, the game counter 34 is provided with a pseudo addition circuit, which includes +1 circuits 114 and 115, and the winner signal WA from the point counter 32 immediately supplies a counting signal to the game counter 110. The game counters 110 and 1 which indicate the number of games immediately before the +1 circuits 114 and 115, which are pseudo addition circuits,
Add a pseudo 1 to the output of 12 and output GA0~
Temporarily outputs the output of GA3. For this,
An AND gate 116 is provided between the winner signal WA and the game counter 110, and is controlled by the output GS of the game start button 20. Correction of the miss counter using this pseudo addition effect will be described later, but in FIG. 7, when the winning signals WA, WB are output, the game number signals GA0 to GA3, GB0 to 1 are added to the number of games acquired up to that point. It is understood that GB3 is output. (t 10 or t 20 in Figure 10) Then, when the game is over, points/
The game switching circuit 38 controls the point display to be switched to the game display. In FIG. 8, the point/game switching circuit 38 has point display signals PA0-PA3, PB0-PB3 and game display signals GA0-GA3, GB0-GB.
3, respectively, and the switching is controlled by either the game start signal GS or the game end signal GE. Also, the signal for the first digit of the point display
Since PA0 and PB0 are not used for game display, the AND gate 130 and
132 blocks the point signal. On the other hand, the signals GA3 and GB3 on the game side are set by AND gates 134 and 13 so that they are valid only at the time of switching.
Switching is controlled by 6. Therefore, the point/game switching circuit 3 in FIG.
8, when the point counter 32 outputs the game end signal GE, the point display shown in FIG. 6 changes to, for example, 2 points as shown in FIG.
The game display is switched to 3 vs. 3. Courtside Switching Each point or game signal needs to be switched and displayed in the left and right display columns of the display section 12 each time there is a court change. As mentioned above, according to the tennis rules, a court change is performed at the end of every odd-numbered game, and for this purpose, the quadratic counter 66 is changed as shown in FIG.
receives the game start signal GS or the game end signal GE from the AND gate 74, and accordingly updates the counter value sequentially. As is clear from the above-mentioned Table 1, the court player selection signal CPS is sequentially switched according to its initial state by the outputs A 1 and A 2 of the quaternary counter 66, and its state is reversed every time an odd-numbered game ends. That is understood. Therefore, in the court side switching circuit shown in FIG. 8, the court side switching circuits 138 to 152 are sequentially switched using this court player selection signal CPS to switch the point signal or game signal output from the point/game switching circuit 38 to the right side. Alternatively, it can be output by switching to the left display column. In addition, the switching circuit 15 of the court side switching circuit
4 and 156 are left and right switching circuits for blinking for advantage display, and switching circuit 1
58 and 160 are used to switch the display of the first digit on the display section 12 from left to right. The output of the court side switching circuit is the display decoder 4.
2, each of the seven segments a to g is converted into a display signal, and a point or game display output is obtained. The display decoder 42 outputs point signals PA1 to PA3, PB1 to PB3 or game signals indicating the 10th digit.
Normal decoders 162 and 164 are used for GA0 to GA3 and GB0 to GB3, but in the present invention, as mentioned above, one point display
Since there are two types of digits, ``0'' and ``5,'' there is no need for a decoder with a conventional complicated circuit configuration. 0/5 switching circuit 170 consisting of 168 and an inverter 172 and AND gates 173 and 174 for the left opponent.
A 0/5 switching circuit 176 consisting of
With this, when the signal R0 or L0 output from the court side switching circuit is "0" or "1", either "0" or "5" can be displayed respectively. I can do it. In this embodiment, the 0/5 switching circuit 170,
Reference numeral 176 also controls the display of the first digit when switching points/games, and this first digit display is used only in point display, and is always turned off during game display. Therefore, the point/game switching signal G/P
It can be understood that the 0/5 switching circuits 170 and 176 perform a control function to use the first digit display on the display section only for point display. In the case of game display, the first digit display is turned off because, as mentioned above, one set is completed by winning six games first, so a single digit display is sufficient for displaying the number of games, and is not implemented. In the example, this is performed using the 10th digit of the display unit 12, and when the game is displayed when the signal G/P is "1", the gates of the 0/5 switching circuits 170 and 176 are all closed.
Regardless of the signals R0 and L0, no lighting display signal is output. On the other hand, during point display when the signal G/P is "0", the gates of the 0/5 switching circuits 170 and 176 can output signals according to the signals R0 and L0, respectively. As mentioned above, according to the present invention, only "0" or "5" is required for the 1st digit when displaying points, so the display decoder for the 1st digit can be constructed from the extremely simple group of three gates as described above. The configuration of the display decoder 42 can be extremely simplified. When displaying the first digit "0" of point display,
Signals R0 and L0 become "0", and as a result, inverter 166 of switching circuit 170 and AND gate 1
67 outputs a "1" signal, while AND gate 168 outputs a "0" signal. As a result, the display element g of the segment display body shown in FIG. 2 goes out, while the elements a, c,
Since d, f, b, and e are all lit, a "0" display is obtained as a result. On the other hand, when the signals R0 and L0 are "1", the outputs of the inverter 166 and the AND gate 168 are "1", but the AND gate 167 is "0", and as a result, the display elements b and e are turned off; Display elements a, c, d, f, and g light up, and a display of "5" can be obtained. As described above, according to the present invention, the first digit is displayed as "5" only when the point is 15, and in other cases, all the first digits are displayed as "0". It can be used as a digit display decoder, and the configuration of the display decoder 42 can be extremely simplified. Determination of game victory or defeat As described above, when the game is over, the number of games acquired by the opponent is displayed on the display unit 12 as shown in FIG. Therefore, the game number display is a pseudo game display, and to confirm this, the game start button 20 of the input section 18 is turned on. In response to the game start signal GS, a count signal is supplied from the AND game 74 in FIG. 3 to the quaternary counter 66, and the count value is incremented by +1. Therefore, if a court change is required at this time, the court player selection signal CPS is automatically inverted, and the display of each opponent on the display 10 is changed, and the court display is also changed. In Fig. 7, the game start signal GS
By supplying , the game counters 110 and 112 add 1 to their counted values, that is, the number of games, by the counter input from the AND gate 116. Further, the game start signal is the game next signal GN which is the output of the AND gate 74 in FIG. 3, which resets each counter of the point counter 32 from the OR gate 178 in FIG. '', the +1 circuit 114 in the game counter in FIG. 7 loses its function, and the contents of the game counter 110 are recorded as they are (t 21 in FIG. 10). Then, when you release the game start button 20,
The points of the opponent are counted by the point counter 32 of FIG. 5, which is reset again by the game next signal GN, and the same operation as described above is repeated. Game over correction The game is over when one of the opponents gets 4 points first or gets 2 points in a row from double use, but the game is often over due to incorrect counter operation etc. was extremely troublesome. However, according to the present invention, by employing the pseudo addition circuit shown in FIG. 7, it is possible to easily return to the original state before the game is determined to win or lose, that is, before the next game start button is turned on. Return is possible. That is, if the game is over due to an erroneous operation, recovery can be performed instantly by simply pressing the correction button 26 of the input section 18 and outputting the correction signal CR. The point counter 32 shown in FIG. 5 is provided with a correction distribution circuit 180 and a correction subtraction control circuit 182, and the point counter 32 is switched to a correction mode by the correction signal CR. When the game is over due to an erroneous operation, a game over signal is output from at least one of the counters 80 and 82, and the subtraction control circuit 18
2 calculates the AND of this game over signal and the correction signal CR and outputs the signal to the down input D of the corresponding counter 80, 82.
Subtract the contents of 2. Therefore, counters 80,8
2 cuts off the output of the game over signal, thereby causing the winner signals WA, WB and the game end signal to be output.
Since GE also disappears, the point/game switching circuit 38 can return to the point display state again. (t 11 in FIG. 10) Correction of Point Input Error Next, the correction to a normal point will be explained. As mentioned above, first, the correction button 26 is turned on and the correction signal CR becomes "1". In this state, when the input button 22 or 28 on the erroneously operated side is turned on, this input signal is transferred from the correction distribution circuit 180 to the subtraction control circuit 1, as is clear from the point counter 32.
82 and the corresponding counter 80 or 82
By supplying a signal to the subtraction input D of the counter, the count contents of the counter can be subtracted and the original state can be restored. This kind of modification is the same for Advantage, and by resetting Advantage FF 96 or 98, it returns to the original deused state, but when returning to Advantage, the contents of counters 80 and 82 are maintained at the original 40:40. be done. Service display change for each point input As described above, according to the present invention, the display 10
A service position display section 14 is provided in the service position display section 14, and the service position selected by the toss before the start of the match is initialized by initialization and court selection. In FIG. 3, the coat signal A0 , which is the output of the OR gate 54, performs this initial setting, and the AND gates 58 to 64 select one of the service positions, that is, the display section 14a (SVRF) shown in FIG. 14b (SVRB), 14c
(SVLB), 14d (SVLF) are selected (third
(see table). As is well known, the service position is alternately changed between forward and backward for the same player for each point input, and for this reason, as shown in FIG.
Signals PCA0 and PCB0 indicating the first digit from both counters 80 and 82 of the point counter 32 are supplied from the exclusive OR gate 56, thereby switching the gate groups 58-64. Therefore, within one game, the signals SVLF and SVLB
Then, SVRF and SVRB are alternately switched point by point. Change of service position at the end of each odd-numbered game In addition, due to the court change at the end of each odd-numbered game according to tennis rules, the serving court returns to the original court at the end of the odd-numbered game. A 0 is valid and
As shown in Table 3, it is possible to accurately display the serve position in accordance with the predetermined rules. Court/Service Position Display The above-mentioned court/service position display circuit 48 is provided to display the service position display section 14 and the court display section 16 of the display body 10, and its details are shown in FIG. ing. SVRF~ to perform service location display
SVLB and point/game switching circuit signal G/P
is calculated by AND gates 184 to 190,
When a game is displayed, control is performed to turn off the service position. Therefore, when the game is displayed as shown in FIG.
is off, but in the point display as shown in FIG. 6, for example, the service position display section 1
It is understood that 4 b is lit. On the other hand, for court display, and gate 19
2 to 198 are provided, and an AND gate 20
0 and 202 suppress the signal from the clock oscillator 204 to perform blinking control in the advantage mode. In a normal point state up to an advantage, the combination of RCA and LCB as shown in FIG. 13 is selected by the court player selection signal CPS, and when this is reversed, RCB and LCA are combined. On the other hand, in the advantage mode, the advantage signal ADR or ADL is outputted as shown in FIG. Display is performed. In addition, the above-mentioned service position display section 14 shows the serve position at the four corners of the display body 10 with the display section 12 likened to a tennis court in the embodiment.
In addition to this, it is also possible to indicate the service location by a single character display such as "LF", "LB", "RF", "RB", etc. [Effects of the invention] As explained above, according to the invention, when displaying points, the first digit on the display section is changed to "0" and "5".
Since the display decoder is equipped with a 0/5 switching circuit that switches between only two types, the display decoder itself has an extremely simplified structure, which is useful for reducing the price of the tennis counter and reducing current consumption. .
