Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain a heel-protecting socks preventing from cracking or chraping of heel part due to tough heel part thereof by heat-keeping and moisture-keeping action of a film inserted, in a free state, between a double cloth which covers the heel parts of the socks, and adhering the film and the double cloth at the peripheral parts. CONSTITUTION:A heel part 1 of a socks is constructed with a double cloth 2, 3 and a thin film 5, e.g. made of a synthetic resin inserted between said double cloth 2, 3. Then a film 6 made of an urethane-based synthetic resin is attached at only peripheral part 5' of the film 5 and adhered to one of the double cloth 2 or 3 by heat set, and then the part excepting the peripheral part is made to a free state to afford the objective sock.

Description

[Detailed Description of the Invention] [Industrial Field of Application] The present invention is a descendant of a heel protection sock that is durable in the heel area, which is the most susceptible to pain, and prevents heel cracking, dryness and roughness.

[Problems to be solved by conventional technology and invention]

Since the heel part of conventional socks is most susceptible to pain, this heel part is made strong, for example, thick or double knitted.

The applicant created this double-knitted part into a two-ply knitted fabric structure, interposed a synthetic resin film between them to make it even stronger, and at the same time blocked air circulation to improve heat retention and moisture retention, thereby preventing heel cracks. I came up with the idea that it might be possible to prevent the occurrence of dryness and roughness, and made various test products, but if the synthetic resin film was not bonded and fixed to the knitted fabric, the synthetic resin film would curl up, making it impossible to put it into practical use. It turned out that it wasn't.

The applicant filed a patent application for heel protection socks that solved this problem in 1998.
Although the application was filed as No. 385, subsequent research revealed that the synthetic resin film does not have good protection and heat retention unless it is interposed in a free state, and that if only the peripheral edge is bonded, it is likely to break from the inside of the bonded part. There was found.

The present invention proposes a heel protection sock that solves these problems.

The part of the sock that hides the heel is formed into a double cloth structure, and a thin film 4 is placed between the double cloths 2 and 3 of the heel part 1 at the peripheral edge 4'.

In addition, when a synthetic resin film 4 is used as the thin film 4, a urethane-based synthetic resin film 6 is brought into contact with the periphery and applied to either one of the inner double-layered fabrics 2 and 3 by heat setting. It was confirmed that cutting from the free peripheral edge can be reliably prevented.

〔Example〕

A polyurethane resin film 6 having a width of 5 to 10 mm is brought into contact with the inner edge of the synthetic resin film 5 such as vinyl chloride, nylon, or polyester, and is bonded to the double cloth 2 on the inside of the heel portion 1 by heat setting. .

This urethane-based synthetic resin film 6 has good adhesion to synthetic fibers often used in socks, such as nylon, and at the same time has good adhesion to the synthetic resin film 5. Since it is not bonded to the heavy fabrics 2 and 3 but is bonded via the urethane-based synthetic resin film 6, it is possible to reliably prevent the bonded inner peripheral edge of the synthetic resin film 5 from being cut.

In addition, the synthetic resin film 5 has excellent stretchability and adaptability, so even when placed on the heel of a sock, it does not feel strange (and does not make it uncomfortable to wear).

When knitting, the double-layered fabrics 1 and 2 may be constructed by combining two layers by double-knitting, or may be constructed by applying the cloth to the inside of the heel portion of a single-layered fabric. In addition, double cloth 2.
3 is knitted into a single tube, a film 4 or a synthetic resin film 5 is glued to one side, the other side opposite to the center is folded over, and the overlapping tips are sewn to produce the heel protection socks of the present invention. This is a suitable example for mass production.

Since the present invention is configured as described above, the heel part is made up of three layers: two layers of double cloth and a thin film or thin synthetic resin film, which is extremely durable, and because of the intervening film, heat retention and moisturizing effects are exerted. This makes the socks prevent the heels from cracking and getting rough.

In addition, if the socks are already cracked or rough, the socks will naturally repair them.

Furthermore, since the thin synthetic resin film is heat-set bonded to one side of the double fabric through the urethane-based synthetic resin, it is reliably prevented from cutting from the adhesive inner periphery of the adhesive film, and it also stretches well, making it uncomfortable to wear. These are heel protection socks with excellent practicality.
