- 【実用新案登録請求の範囲】 カセツトケース内に磁気テープが一対のリール
間に巻回して収納されたテープカセツトを記録再
生装置のキヤビネツト内に装着し、磁気テープを
リール間で走行させて記録、再生を行う磁気テー
プ記録再生装置において、 前記カセツトケースの少なくとも一方のリール
ハブを透光性材料または磁気テープ部の反射率と
異なる反射率を有する反射性材料から構成すると
ともに、このリールハブの略外周端部位置からテ
ープ最大巻径位置までの長さを少なくとも有する
窓部を前記カセツトケースに形成し、この窓部に
臨んで前記キヤビネツト内に磁気テープのテープ
巻回量とリールハブ径とを光学的に検出するテー
プ量検知器を設けたことを特徴とするテープカセ
ツトのテープ残量検出装置。
