ボス部を取り付ける取付面と円環状リム芯材と両

から一体的に構成されており、前記リム芯材、ス
ポーク芯材の適宜箇所と前記ボス取付面の全面に
おいて前記パリソンの相対向する壁面が相互に圧

〈発明の実施例〉
以下本発明の一実施例を添付図面を参照して説
明する。第3図において、ステアリングホイール
樹脂芯材1は図示しないブロー成形金型内で一体
的に成形されるもので、そのリム芯材2の適宜箇
所には、第4図にその断面を示すようなパリソン
対向壁圧着部2′が円周方向等間隔に8ケ所設け
られている。更にスポーク芯材3の適宜箇所にも
第5,6図にその断面を示すようなパリソン対向
壁圧着部3′及び3″が設けられ、ボス部取付面4
のパリソン対向壁は全面が相互に圧着されてい
る。以上の圧着部以外の部分は全て中空に形成さ
れており、全体が連通している。尚5はボス部を
取付ける際の取付孔である。上記樹脂芯材の成形
に際しては前記ボス取付面、スポーク芯材及びリ
ム芯材に対応するキヤビテイを刻設した二個の型
半体相互間にリム芯材外径よりもやゝ大きい巾を
有する偏平円筒形のポリアミド製溶融パリソンを
導入して型閉し、リム部、スポーク部及びボス取
付部のキヤビテイ外周縁でパリソンを喰い切ると
ともに、パリソン内にエアーを吹き込んでブロー

〈発明の効果〉

リングホイール芯材のリム芯材、スポーク芯材並
びにボス部取付面が樹脂材のブロー成形により一
体的に形成されているので、従来の金属製芯材に
比べて著しく軽量化され、溶接の必要が全く無
く、従つて又溶接強度の品質管理も不要となる
等、工数を大巾に削減でき、低コストとなる、と
