Abstract

(57)【要約】 【目的】容易かつ低コストにて実装が実現出来る表面実
装型混成集積回路装置の構造を提供する。 【構成】チップ状端子部品６および電子部品２が、接合
材３により基板１上の配線５に接合され、電気的に接続
されてチップ状端子部品６の外部端子の接続部となる部
分以外を外装４が覆っている。

【発明の詳細な説明】
【０００１】
【産業上の利用分野】本発明は混成集積回路装置に関
し、特に表面実装に供される表面実装型混成集積回路装
置に関する。
【０００２】
【従来の技術】従来の表面実装型混成集積回路装置は、
図３および図４に示すように、外部端子は、半田等の接
合材３やボンディングワイヤ８により基板１の外周部に
て基板１上の回路を形成する配線５と電気的に接続され
た矩形状の断面の細長い金属性リード７を曲げ加工した
もので形成されていた。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】この従来の表面実装型
混成集積回路装置では、外部端子を基板１上の配線に接
続するのに、そのための装置や治具を必要とし、また、
接続のための工数の他に外部端子を切断，曲げ加工する
工数、および、そのための装置や金型が必要であった。
このため設備や治具，金型の作成，購入に多大な費用が
かかり、また、製品製造に多くの工数が必要であるとい
う問題点があった。
【０００４】本発明の目的は、設備や治具を必要とせず
安価で容易に外部端子を配線に接続出来る混成集積回路
装置を提供することにある。

【課題を解決するための手段】本発明は、基板と、該基
板上に形成された配線と、該配線に接続し外部回路と接
続するリードとを有する混成集積回路装置において、前
記リードが前記基板に搭載されたチップ状端子部品によ
り構成されている。

【実施例】次に、本発明の実施例について図面を参照し
て説明する。
【０００７】図１は本発明の第１の実施例の断面図であ
る。
【０００８】第１の実施例は、図１に示すように、ま
ず、チップ状端子部品６は、電子部品２と同一工程内で
同じ装置にて基板１上に搭載され、接合材３にて基板１
上の配線５に接合される。その後、チップ状端子部品６
の外部端子となる部分を覆わない様に露出させ外装４を
施す。チップ状端子部品６の配線５に接合される面と外
部端子となる部品とは電気的に導通していなければなら
ないため、チップ状端子部品６全体が導体でつくるか、
または導体膜により電気的に短絡させる。
【０００９】図２は、本発明の第２の実施例の断面図で
ある。
【００１０】第２の実施例は、図２に示すように、第１
の実施例と同様の構造であり製造方法も同じであるが、
１つのチップ状端子部品６で複数の外部端子を形成して
いる。この例でのチップ状端子部品６は、細長い棒状の
絶縁体の外周に間隔をおいて縞状に導体膜を被覆した構
造となっている。

【発明の効果】以上説明したように本発明は、混成集積
回路装置に表面実装のための外部端子を設けるにあたり
チップ状端子部品を用いたための、一般電子部品と同一
工程と同じ装置にて搭載することが出来るようになり、
新らたに設備，治具を用意する必要がなく、また、リー
ドの切断や曲げといった外部端子の加工の必要もなく、
工数的にも少なくて済むので、容易に低コストにて表面
実装型混成集積回路装置を実現することが出来るという
効果を有する。

  1. 【請求項１】 基板と、該基板上に形成された配線と、
    該配線に接続し外部回路と接続するリードとを有する混
    成集積回路装置において、前記リードが前記基板に搭載
    されたチップ状端子部品により構成されていることを特
    徴とする混成集積回路装置。
