[Industrial Field of Application] The present invention relates to a binder for moist pellets that uses raw feed in an amount equal to or more than that of mixed feed. [Prior Art] In recent years, so-called moist pellets, which are made by mixing raw feed and compound feed into pellets, have been developed and are rapidly becoming popular. Previously, sardines, mackerel, sand locusts, etc. were minced or cut into pieces for feeding, but the poor predation rate and imbalanced nutrition caused pollution of the sea, labor involved in feeding, yield, and quality. There were various problems such as a decline in performance. Since all of these problems were alleviated, the use of moist pellets quickly spread. A binder is essential for these moist pellets, and examples include sodium carboxymethyl cellulose (hereinafter referred to as CMC), guar gum, sodium alginate, and sodium polyacrylate. [Problem to be solved by the invention] Initially, the standard was to use equal amounts of raw bait and compound feed, but due to the recent decline in fish prices and the high cost of compound feed compared to live bait, Fish farmers are increasing the proportion of raw feed used, and feed manufacturers are looking for high-performance binders to meet this demand. There has been a desire for something that can reduce binder costs. With conventional binders, as the proportion of raw bait used increases and the amount of binder used decreases, the amount of water increases relative to the amount of binder (raw bait contains about 70 to 85% water). ), it was not possible to obtain pellets of sufficient hardness, or the pellets became sticky and stuck to each other, making it impossible to obtain a satisfactory product with practical use. [Means for Solving the Problems] The present inventors previously focused on CMC, which has the highest water absorption among commonly used binders, and developed acid-type carboxymethyl cellulose (hereinafter referred to as acid-type CMC). ) was used as a crosslinking agent to develop CMC with higher water absorption. It is true that water absorption has improved, and the stickiness of the pellets disappeared even when raw feed was used in an amount equal to or more than the mixed feed. However, it has been found that by further adding a very small amount (0.5 to 10%) of sodium polyacrylate, the appearance of sludge, shimmer, etc. in the pellets is significantly improved, and the value as a product is significantly improved. If the amount of sodium polyacrylate added is less than 0.5%, the effect will not be significant, and if it exceeds 10%, the stickiness characteristic of sodium polyacrylate will begin to appear and the hardness will decrease. Possible methods for adding sodium polyacrylate include adding an aqueous solution or powder. The methods shown in JP-A-63-137648 and JP-A-1-117752 both involve powder mixing, but sodium polyacrylate has slow solubility and
As described in No. 137648, it is difficult to obtain a stable product when using particles with a large particle size (for example, 80 mesh pass 30%). In addition, because of its high hygroscopicity, particles with small particle sizes tend to form blocks in a short period of time, so care must be taken when handling them. However, when added in the form of an aqueous solution, it is coated uniformly on CMC, resulting in faster solubility.
It demonstrates its ability in a short kneading time when producing moist pellets. Therefore, it is also ideal as a binder for onboard pellets. In the present invention, other glue materials such as guar gum,
It is also possible to use it in combination with commonly used substances such as sodium alginate. [Example] Examples 1 to 2, Comparative Examples 1 to 2 After thoroughly mixing an equivalent amount of sodium polyacrylate dissolved at a concentration of 5% with crosslinked CMC, the mixture was heated at 80°C.
After drying with air for 3 hours, it was crushed. 1 part by weight of the obtained binder was added to 49 parts by weight of fishmeal and mixed well to obtain a mixed feed. Compound feed
Add 80 parts by weight of water to 50 parts by weight, immediately after 5 minutes,
And after 30 minutes, the dumplings were compared with those using powdered dumplings.
