Conventionally, as seen in Japanese Utility Model Application Publication No. 58-6654, it has been widely practiced to arrange a tank such as a fuel tank under the floor of a vehicle. In this case, if sufficient ground clearance is not available for the tank, it is often done to form an upwardly recessed portion in the floor panel and place the tank therein. FIG. 3 and FIG. 4 show an example of this, in which a recessed portion 2 facing upward is formed in a floor panel 1 of a vehicle.
A fuel tank 4 with a nipple 3 projecting therein is arranged. Here, the nipple 3 is connected to an air breather, a delivery pipe, etc. via a hose or a tube, and faces into the vehicle interior on the upper surface side of the floor panel through a through hole 5 formed in the recessed part 2 of the floor panel 1. Alternatively, the tube can be easily connected from inside the vehicle.

By the way, in the above-mentioned conventional example, since the nipple 3 protrudes long and substantially horizontally, this nipple 3
In order to pass the fuel tank 4 through the through hole 5, the fuel tank 4 has to be moved laterally within the recess 2. That is, when the fuel tank 4 is automatically mounted at a predetermined position within the recess 2, the fuel tank 4 must be moved in two-dimensional directions, vertically and horizontally, which is disadvantageous in terms of automation. Ta. Furthermore, in order to be able to move laterally, the fuel tank 4 must have a width smaller than the recess 2, which poses a problem in that the tank container is restricted. SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION It is therefore an object of the present invention to provide a fuel tank device for a vehicle in which the assembly work of a fuel tank can be more easily automated and the capacity of the fuel tank can be increased compared to the conventional one.

For this purpose, the present invention provides a fuel tank device for a vehicle in which an upwardly recessed portion is formed in the floor panel of the vehicle and a fuel tank is disposed within the recessed portion, in which each of the fuel tanks is provided with an inclined surface having a forward slope. Shoulders on both left and right sides are formed, and nipples for connecting hoses, etc. are provided protruding from both shoulders, and the concave portion of the floor panel has a reverse slope corresponding to the shoulders of the fuel tank. Each inclined surface is provided with a through hole large enough to allow the nipples to move vertically along with the fuel tank through the floor panel. This means that grommets are provided which are attached to each through hole from the upper surface side of the floor panel in a state facing the upper surface side, and through which the hoses and the like are inserted.

In a vehicle fuel tank device that employs such a method, when assembling the fuel tank to the vehicle body, when the fuel tank is moved upward from the bottom of the floor panel into the recess, both the left and right shoulders of the fuel tank are removed. Each nipple protruding from each portion faces into the vehicle interior on the upper surface side of the floor panel through each through hole formed on each slope of the recessed portion,
The fuel tank is located within a recess in the floor panel. In this state, in the vehicle interior on the top side of the floor panel, insert the tip of the hose, etc. through the grommet and connect it to each nipple, and then attach the grommet to each of the above-mentioned through holes to connect the through hole and the hose, etc. The gap between them is closed.

Hereinafter, one embodiment of the present invention will be specifically described based on the drawings. In FIG. 1, numeral 6 is the floor panel of the vehicle;
Reference numeral 7 indicates an inner panel, and the floor panel 6 is formed with an upwardly facing recess 6a, into which a fuel tank 8 is fitted and disposed. The fuel tank 8 has shoulder portions 8a and 8b, which are the upper corners on both the left and right sides, which are sloped surfaces with a forward slope (in this embodiment, approximately
45°), and nipples 10, 10 for connecting to an air breather, delivery pipe, etc. (not shown) via a tube or hose 9 are protruded diagonally from the shoulder portions 8a, 8b in an upright state perpendicular to the surface. It is set up. On the other hand, the concave portion 6a of the floor panel 6 is formed with slopes 6b, 6c having opposite slopes corresponding to the shoulders 8a, 8b of the fuel tank 8, and there are through holes through which the nipples 10, 10 are inserted. 11, 11 are pierced. The positions and sizes of the through holes 11, 11 are set appropriately so that the nipples 10, 10 can move vertically together with the fuel tank 8 and pass through them (see Fig. 2). Grommets 12, 12 are attached to 11, 11. Here, the assembly work for the vehicle fuel tank device having such a configuration will be explained. First, below the concave portion 6a of the floor panel 6,
The shoulders 8a and 8b of the fuel tank 8 are recessed portions 6a.
Set it so that it faces the inclined surfaces 6b and 6c. In this state, the fuel tank 8 is moved upward using an appropriate automatic lifting device, and the nipple 1 is
The fuel tank 8 is fixed to a vehicle body side member such as the floor panel 6 by an appropriate means at a predetermined position where the holes 11 and 10 are inserted into the through holes 11 and 11. Then, on the inside of the vehicle above the concave portion 6a, the tips of tubes or hoses 9,9 connected to an air breather, delivery pipe, etc. (not shown) are inserted through grommets 12,12 and connected to the nipples 10,10, The grommets 12, 12 are inserted into each of the above through holes 1.
By attaching it to 1, 11, the through hole and 11, 11
and the hose etc. 9, 9.

As explained above, in this invention, when assembling the fuel tank to the vehicle body, when the fuel tank is moved upward from the bottom of the floor panel into the recessed part of the floor panel, the projecting parts on both the left and right shoulders of the fuel tank are removed. Each nipple faces into the vehicle interior on the upper surface side of the floor panel through each through hole formed in each inclined surface of the recessed portion, and the fuel tank is disposed within the recessed portion of the floor panel. In this state, in the vehicle interior on the top side of the floor panel, insert the tip of the hose, etc. through the grommet and connect it to each nipple, and then attach the grommet to each of the above-mentioned through holes to connect the through hole and the hose, etc. The gap between them is closed. As described above, according to the present invention, when assembling the fuel tank to the vehicle body, the fuel tank only needs to be moved upward, and there is no need to move it horizontally in addition to upward movement as in the past. Easy to automate tank assembly work. Further, for the same reason, the fuel tank can be enlarged to the maximum size corresponding to the recessed portion, so that the capacity can be increased compared to the conventional fuel tank. Furthermore, since the gap between the through hole in the floor panel and the hose connected to the nipple of the fuel tank is closed by the grommet, it is possible to effectively prevent external noise and dust from entering the vehicle interior.
