本発明は密閉形鉛蓄電池に関するものである。 従来、密閉形鉛蓄電池は、主に硫酸ソーダ、硫
酸および酸化硅素の粉末からなるゲルを電解質と
して用いている。本電池の寿命は次の過程を経
る。

Claims (1)

  1. 【特許請求の範囲】 1 正極板と負極板を交互に重ね、両極板の間に
    は耐酸性の有機または無機物質からなる不織布を
    セパレータとして正極板を包みこんで配置し、そ
    の幅が極板群下部では、収納する電槽の底部の幅
    より大きく、極板群上部近傍では、電槽の幅より
    小さくしており、且つ、前記極板群には希硫酸が
    含浸されており、極板群上部の空間には硫酸ソー
    ダ、希硫酸および酸化珪素の粉末からなるヒドロ
    ゲルが充填されていることを特徴とする密閉形鉛
    蓄電池。 2 極板群上面に離しよう水吸収用の多孔体を配
    置したことを特徴とする特許請求の範囲第1項記
    載の密閉形鉛蓄電池。 3 極板の集電体の合金組成がPb,Ca,Snの三
    成分の合計が99.98重量%以上で且つSnは2%以
    下、Caは0.2%以下であることを特徴とする特許
    請求の範囲第1項記載の密閉形鉛蓄電池。 4 セパレータは、複数枚重ね合わせて所定の厚
    みとして極板間に配置したことを特徴とする特許
    請求の範囲第1項記載の密閉形鉛蓄電池。 5 正極板を包みこむセパレータの形状がV又は
    U字状であることを特徴とする特許請求の範囲第
    1項記載の密閉形鉛蓄電池。
