Claims (13)
- 1.第1のブレーキアクチュエータの部分を形成するピストンシリンダアセンブ リと、第2のブレーキアクチュエータの部分を形成し、前記アセンブリの長手方 向の軸線を横断するように伸びる枢動軸線の周りで相対運動可能に前記アセンブ リに接続されている部材と、前記部材の一部分を形成し、前記軸線を横断する方 向に枢動軸線から離れた反作用手段とを有し、前記アセンブリ及び前記部材はブ レーキシューの2つの対向して間隔を置いた当接部の間に配置可能な複合構造を 形成するように協働し、前記反作用手段が1つの前記当接部と協働し、前記アセ ンブリが他の前記当接部に協働し、前記複合構造体は、前記当接部の間の間隔を 増大するように操作可能であり、それによって前記部材が前記枢動軸線の周りで 1方向に移動されるときブレーキシューの半径方向の拡張を行い、前記アセンブ リは前記半径方向の拡張を行うために前記複合構造とは独立して操作可能である ドラムブレーキ作動機構。
- 2.前記反作用手段は1つの前記当接部上に直接作用し、前記アセンブリの一端 は他の前記当接部上に直接作用し、その一端部に対向する前記アセンブリの他端 部は前記アセンブリがその軸線方向の長さを伸ばすように作用するときに前記1 つの当接部上に間接的に作用する請求項1に記載の横構。
- 3.アセンブリの前記他端部は、ブレーキシューの1端の延長部を介して1つの 当接部上に間接的に作用し、前記1つの当接部はそのシュー端部上に設けられて いる請求項2に記載の機構。
- 4.第1のブレーキアクチュエータの部分を形成するピストンシリンダアセンブ リと、第2のブレーキアクチュエータの部分を形成し、前記アセンブリの長手方 向の軸線を横断するように伸びる枢動軸線の周りで相対運動可能に前記アセンブ リに接続されている部材と、前記部材の一部分を形成し、前記軸線を横断する方 向に枢動軸線から離れた反作用手段とを有し、前記アセンブリ及び前記部材は、 ブレーキシューの対向して間隔を置いた2つの当接部の間に配置可能な複合構造 を形成するように協働し、前記アセンブリが1つの前記当接部と協働し、前記反 作用手段が前記他の当接部と協働し、前記第1のアクチュエータは前記アセンブ リに前記面当接部と協働させて軸線方向に伸ばし、前記当接部の間の間隔を増大 させ、ブレーキシューを半径方向に拡張し、ブレーキドラムと係合させるように 操作可能であり、前記第2のアクチュエータは、前記部材を前記枢動軸線のまわ りで1つの方向に移動させ、前記間隔を増加させるように前記反作用手段を前記 1つの当接部に押し付け、前記アセンブリを他の当接部に押し付けるように操作 可能なドラムブレーキ作動機構。
- 5.前記部材は、その一端部に前記反作用手段を有し、対向する端部で作動手段 に接続可能なレバーの形態であり、前記アセンブリとの接続は、前記端部分の間 に配置されている請求項1から4のいずれか1項に記載の機構。
- 6.前記枢動軸線は、前記部材が、ほぼ前記アセンブリの長手方向の軸線の方向 に移動するような方向に伸びる請求項1から5のいずれか1項に記載の機構。
- 7.前記アセンブリは、関連するブレーキシューの摩耗を補償するようにその有 効長さを自動的に調整するための手段を含む請求項1から6のいずれか1項に記 載の機構。
- 8.前記調整手段は、取り付けられた歯付きホイールと、前記ホイールと協働す るばね付きつめとを有するネジ山つきスタッドを含み、前記スタッドは、前記反 作用手段から離れた前記アセンブリの端部にある請求項7に記載の機構。
- 9.バックプレートと、前記バックプレートに取り付けられたブレーキシューと を有し、前記シューは、対向した離れた2つの端部を有し、先行の請求項のいず れか1項の作動機構が前記シュー端部の間に配置されているドラムブレーキアセ ンブリ。
- 10.前記シューは摩擦ライニングを取り付ける1つの本体を含む請求項9に記 載のアセンブリ。
- 11.前記シュー本体は、断面が溝形状であり、各当接部は、その溝の基部の端 部分を半径方向内側に曲げられた部分によって形成されている請求項10に記載 のアセンブリ。
- 12.添付歯面を参照して特別に説明したドラムブレーキ作動機構。
- 13.添付図面を参照して特別に説明したドラムブレーキアセンブリ。
