Conventionally, soundproofing measures for outdoor air conditioner units have been achieved by individually pasting sound absorbing and sound insulating materials without three-dimensional molding onto desired areas such as the internal side walls of the outdoor air conditioner unit, or by filling voids. There are methods such as integrating sound absorbing material without three-dimensional molding with sound insulating material, rolling it up, sewing the ends together, and making it into a cylindrical shape. It depended on the method.

However, in the case of such soundproofing measures, the total number of parts of the soundproofing material is 5 or 6, and the installation work is extremely complicated. In particular, the sealing performance is poor, noise leaks, and the soundproofing effect is poor, and furthermore, the cost is high. It had the disadvantage of being expensive.

Therefore, the inventors of the present invention worked hard to obtain a soundproofing effect equal to or better than the conventional 5 or 6 soundproofing materials by replacing it with one or two three-dimensional molded soundproofing materials, and to also reduce the installation work. As a result of research, we have changed from the conventional soundproofing material without three-dimensional molding, which is simply rolled up and sewn together, to a soundproofing material with a three-layer structure of sound-absorbing material, sound-insulating material, and sound-absorbing material, which is integrally molded and three-dimensionally processed. By covering one or both of the compressor and accumulator in the outdoor unit of an air conditioner with a cylindrical shape with one opening, a soundproofing effect superior to conventional soundproofing materials with five or six parts can be achieved. They discovered that this could be achieved and came up with the present invention.
