The present invention relates to an agent for removing wax stains from resin surfaces. In recent years, the use of resin molded products for exterior parts of automobiles has been increasing. For example, resin molded products are used for bumpers, mirrors, fenders, etc., and when colored products are used, their surfaces are usually textured to improve their appearance. Incidentally, painted surfaces of automobiles are coated with wax to remove dirt and shine, but when doing so, the wax tends to adhere to the grained surfaces of resin parts, causing clogging of the grains. Once the wax gets stuck in the grain, it cannot be easily removed by washing the car or the like, and it remains as a stain. In view of the above points, the present invention provides a means for easily removing wax stains from the textured surfaces of resin parts. That is, the present invention relates to an agent for removing wax stains on resin surfaces, which comprises 100 parts (by weight, the same applies hereinafter) of a vinyl chloride resin, 5 to 30 parts of calcium carbonate, and 5 to 50 parts of a phthalate plasticizer. By rubbing the wax-clogged surface of the resin part with the specific remover of the present invention, the wax-clogged surface can be easily and reliably removed. The vinyl chloride resin used in the present invention includes not only a homopolymer of vinyl chloride but also a copolymer of vinyl chloride and a small amount of other monomers such as vinylidene chloride. As calcium carbonate, ordinary calcium carbonate can be used without any particular restriction, but calcium carbonate having a particle size of about 0.1 to 30 μm is preferably used. As the phthalate ester plasticizer, any of those used as plasticizers for vinyl chloride resins can be used, such as dioctyl phthalate, dibutyl phthalate, butylphthalyl butyl glycol, and the like. As for the proportion of the above components, vinyl chloride resin
It is preferable to use 5 to 30 parts of calcium carbonate and 5 to 50 parts of phthalate plasticizer per 100 parts. If the proportion of calcium carbonate is less than the above range, the wax removal effect will be poor, and if it is more than the above range, it will become too brittle and inconvenient to handle. If the proportion of the phthalate ester plasticizer is less than the above range, the vinyl chloride resin cannot be sufficiently plasticized, resulting in poor wax removal effect.
If the amount exceeds the above range, it becomes too soft and it becomes difficult to maintain the shape. In the present invention, in addition to the above-mentioned three components, compounding agents such as stabilizers for vinyl chloride resins, colorants, fillers other than calcium carbonate, etc. can be appropriately added within the range that does not interfere with the present invention. The wax stain remover of the present invention is prepared by kneading the above components and is in the form of a soft solid. To remove wax stains using the wax stain remover of the present invention, it is sufficient to rub the wax-clogged surface of the resin part with the remover. Next, the present invention will be explained with reference to Examples and Comparative Examples. Examples 1 to 3 Polyvinyl chloride, calcium carbonate (average particle size
10μ) and a phthalate ester plasticizer in the proportions shown in Table 1 and kneaded to obtain a solid removal agent. Wax stain removal tests were conducted using each of the above-mentioned removers. In other words, the bumper is made of colored polypropylene with a textured surface (the depth of the texture is 50μ).
Apply solid automotive wax to m) and heat at 40°C for 24 hours.
After forced drying under these conditions, the wax-applied surface was rubbed back and forth with each of the above-mentioned removers 5 to 6 times. As a result, in each case, we were able to completely remove the wax that was stuck on the grained surface.

Further, the wax-applied surface was brushed with a detergent applied (Comparative Example 2). As a result, in all cases, the wax stuck to the grained surface could not be completely removed, and the wax remained.
