(Industrial Application Field) The present invention relates to sliding contact materials, and particularly to improvements in the materials of the brushes, commutators, or slip rings that constitute them. (Prior art) Conventional sliding contact devices contain Au30-50% by weight,
It is a combination of a brush made of an alloy material containing 20-40% by weight of Ag and 20-40% by weight of Pd, and a commutator or slip ring made of an alloy material containing 0.5-15% by weight of Ag-Cd. (Problems to be Solved by the Invention) By the way, the brush of this sliding contact device adheres to the commutator or slip ring when sliding, has poor wear resistance, and easily generates wear powder, which can cause noise. I was getting used to it. On the other hand, the commutator is a slip ring that is Ag
- Composed of alloy material with 0.5 to 15% by weight of Cd,
When sliding with a brush, it was highly sticky and had poor abrasion resistance. (Object of the Invention) The present invention has been made in order to eliminate such drawbacks, and provides a sliding contact device that improves the wear resistance of the brush and the wear resistance of the commutator or slip ring. That is. (Means for solving the problem) The sliding contact device of the present invention includes Au30 to 50% by weight,
Au−Ag− with Ag20~40wt%, Pd20~40wt%
Pd is 95-99.5% by weight and the balance is Co, Sn, and Ti
and a brush made of an alloy material containing a total of 0.5 to 5% by weight of at least one of the above. (Function) In the sliding contact material of the present invention, the brush
Au-Ag-Pd is 95-99.5% by weight and the balance is 30-50% by weight of Au, 20-40% by weight of Ag, 20-40% by weight of Pd.
At least one of Co, Sn and Ti in total of 0.5 to 5
The reason why the composition is made of an alloy material consisting of 5% by weight is to make the Au-Ag-Pd alloy material hard in order to improve its wear resistance. If it exceeds this, the amount of oxides generated will increase, the contact resistance will increase, and furthermore, it will become unstable. Furthermore, by setting the content of Au, Ag, and Pd within a range that does not change the composition ratio of the conventional alloy material, the characteristics of the conventional alloy material can be exhibited without being impaired. be. Commutator or slip spring, Ag-
The reason why it is made of an alloy material of 3 to 12% by weight of Cu or 3 to 12% of Ag-Cu to 5% by weight of Cd is to improve the wear resistance when sliding with the brush. If the Cu content is less than 3% by weight, this effect cannot be obtained, and if it exceeds 12% by weight, the amount of oxide generated during sliding will be too large, resulting in high contact resistance and instability. If it exceeds 5% by weight, when it becomes oxidized Cd, contact resistance increases and wear resistance deteriorates. Therefore,
The content of Cu is 3 to 12% by weight, and the content of Cd is not more than 5% by weight. Next, specific embodiments and conventional examples of the sliding contact device according to the present invention will be described. (Example) Brush wire rods with a wire diameter of 0.7 mm made of alloy materials of the example and conventional example shown in the left column of Table 1 below were each cut into lengths of 8 mm, and two wires were placed in parallel and one end was cut. A brush was made by welding it to a base material with a width of 10 mm, a length of 13 mm, and a thickness of 0.2 mm, and a 2R arc-shaped contact part was bent at the other end. On the other hand, a slip ring with a diameter of 50 mm was made by punching out a 0.5 mm thick plate made of a conventional alloy material having the composition shown in the right column of Table 1 below. A sliding contact device was made by combining these brushes and slip rings, and a sliding test was conducted under the following test conditions by bringing each brush into contact with the slip ring and rotating the slip ring in forward and reverse directions. When the amount of wear and contact resistance were measured, the results shown in the table below were obtained. Test conditions Current: 0.6A Voltage: 12V Load: Resistive load Rotation speed: 1000 revolutions/min Circumferential speed: 120-130m/min Contact force: 100g Test time: 7 hours

代わることのできる画期的なものと云える。[Table] As is clear from Table 2 above, the brushes and slip rings of the sliding contact devices of Examples 1 to 12 have a greater amount of wear than the brushes and slip rings of the sliding contact devices of Conventional Examples 1 and 2, respectively. It can be seen that the contact resistance is low and stable. This is simply due to the fact that the alloy material constituting the brush of the sliding contact devices of Examples 1 to 12 contains at least one of Cu, Sn, and Ti during sliding.
The addition of seeds makes it harder and improves adhesion resistance.
This is also because the amount of oxide generated during sliding is in balance with the amount of wear. Also, Example 1~
This is because the Cu alloy material that makes up the slip ring of the sliding contact device in No. 12 suppresses the increase in stickiness during sliding and improves wear resistance. (Effects of the Invention) As detailed above, the sliding contact device according to the present invention has significantly superior wear resistance of the brush and commutator or slip ring compared to conventional sliding contact devices, and generates extremely little wear powder. Since the contact resistance is low and stable, it can be said to be an epoch-making device that can replace conventional sliding contact devices.
