夫なボトルに形成できかつ握り易いプラスチックボトル
を提供する。 【構成】 特に炭酸飲料に適している本プラスチックボ
トル１は、大略円筒状の形体２を有し、４角形の断面を
持つ深い環状の溝５が周囲に少なくとも１つ設けられて

【発明の詳細な説明】
【０００１】
【産業上の利用分野】本発明は、飲料収容用プラスチッ
クボトルに関し、特に、ミネラルウォーターやオレンジ
エード等の炭酸ガスを含有した飲料の収容に適している
ボトルに関する。
【０００２】
【従来の技術】従来より１．５リットルあるいは２リッ
トルのサイズで使用されている、炭酸飲料収容に適した
プラスチックボトルは、それ以外のものよりも丈夫であ
ることはよく知られている。
【０００３】吹込み成形(ブロー成形)の製法で製造され
るこれらのボトルは、通常、本体の厚さを大きくするこ
とにより強化される。
【０００４】このことは、当然、使われる原料の量、従
ってボトルのコストの増大をもたらすことになる。
【０００５】この不都合を解決するために、三角形の断
面を持つ環状の小さな溝を周囲に設けたボトルが商業的
に利用されるようになったが、ボトル内に飲料を入れる
と、表面が張力により縦方向へ伸びようとするために環
状の溝が引き延ばされることになるので、予想されたほ
どの効果は上がらなかった。
【０００６】その上、飲料用ボトルの表面は一般的に完
全に滑らかで、しかもかなり大きい直径(ほぼ８５ミリ
メートル)を有しているので、握るのに骨が折れること
が多い。
【０００７】
【発明が解決しようとする課題】本発明の目的は、上記
従来の不都合を解決できる、１．５リットルあるいは２
リットルのサイズの炭酸飲料収容用プラスチックボトル
を提供することにある。
【０００８】本発明の主たる目的は、炭酸飲料の収容に
適しているにもかかわらず、コストが非炭酸飲料用ボト
ルのコストと変わらないボトルを提供することである。
【０００９】さらなる目的は、今日商業的に利用されて
いるボトルよりも製造が困難になることはないボトルを
提供することである。
【００１０】
【発明の要旨】上記の目的は、大略円筒状であって、４
角形の断面を持つ深い環状の溝が周囲に少なくとも１つ
設けられている点に特徴のあるプラスチックボトルによ
って達成される。
【００１１】
【実施例】以下に、図１、図２に基づいて本発明の一実
施例を詳細に説明する。図に示すように、本ボトル１
は、円筒状の本体２、形作られた底部３及びキャップ締
付け用ネジを有する首部４から構成されている。
【００１２】本ボトル１は一般に行なわれている吹込み
成形の製法により、プラスチック材料特にポリエステル
により製造される。
【００１３】本発明によると、ボトル１の本体２の上部
周囲に、４角形、特に等脚台形の断面を持つ深い環状の
溝５が設けられている。
【００１４】従って、溝５は、内側の円筒状バンド８に
連結された円すい形の２つの環状のバンド６及び７から
なっている。
【００１５】本ボトル１は、前記のとおり吹込み成形に
より製造されるので、原形のパリソンの各部には同量の
材料が配分され、かつ完成したボトルのバンド８の直径
は本体２よりも相当に小さいので、吹込工程後のバンド
８は本体の他の部分よりも厚くなる。その結果、バンド
８は相当丈夫であって、溝５は引き延ばされていないの
である。
【００１６】事実、内側のバンド８は樽の補強輪に相応
する機能を有している。
【００１７】さらに指摘すべき点として、本ボトルが、
今日商業的に使用されている１．５リットルあるいは２
リットルのサイズで製造されることが好ましいという事
実を考慮すれば、溝５の存在によって直径が局部的に小
さくなるために従来のボトルよりも握りやすくなるとい
うことがあげられる。
【００１８】最後に、実際、材料の量が非炭酸飲料用の
ボトルよりも等しいかわずかに多いだけという事実を本
発明のさらなる利点として付け加える。
【００１９】このように、本発明に係るボトルは所期の
目的を達成することができる。
【００２０】本発明は、種々の変形態様で実施できる
が、それらはすべて本発明の概念の範囲に含まれる。
【００２１】さらに、細かい点はすべて他の技術的に均
等な要素と代替できる。
【００２２】実際に使用される材料は、ボトルの使用に
適合する限り、必要に応じていかなるものでも可能であ
る。

    【特許請求の範囲】
  1. 【請求項１】 大略円筒状の形体(２)を有し、４角形の
    断面を持つ深い環状の溝(５)が周囲に少なくとも１つ設
    けられていることを特徴とするプラスチックボトル。
  2. 【請求項２】 上記環状の溝(５)の断面が等脚台形であ
    ることを特徴とする請求項１記載のボトル。
  3. 【請求項３】 上記環状の溝(５)が本体(２)よりも相当
    小さい直径を持つ円筒状の内側バンド(８)を有すること
    を特徴とする請求項１記載のボトル。
  4. 【請求項４】 上記の溝(５)の各部が本体(２)よりも厚
    いことを特徴とする請求項１記載のボトル。
