【考案の詳細な説明】

【産業上の利用分野】
本考案は、携帯用通信機、音響機器等の筐体の防水構造に関するものである。

【従来の技術】
従来の防水は、筐体の開口と同一形状の帯状の弾性パッキンを別途加工し、筐 体の開口部に装着するか、開口部の端面に液状ゴムを塗布して行っている。

【考案が解決しようとする課題】
従来の帯状パッキンを装着する方式は、自動化が難しく手間が掛かる。また液 状ゴムを塗布する方式は、筐体の開口部の形状に制約が多い。

【課題を解決するための手段】
本考案においては、筐体のカバーの全表面および筐体の本体との接合面に至る までを熱可塑性エラストマーと筐体を形成する熱硬化性樹脂とで二色成形した。 この際、筐体のカバーと本体との接合面における熱可塑性エラストマー端部が接 合面全周にわたり凸になるようにすると有利である。このようにパッキンを形成 することにより、筐体カバーと本体とを結合するだけで、両者の接合面において パッキンの凸部が圧縮され、シール性を完全にする。

【実施例】
次に図面に示す一実施例に従って本考案を説明する。
【０００６】 熱硬化性樹脂と熱可塑性エラストマーとの二色成形により、熱硬化性樹脂から なる筐体のカバー１と熱可塑性エラストマーからなる防水パッキン２を作成して ある。そして筐体のカバー１と筐体の本体３との結合する接合面ａに位置する熱 可塑性エラストマーの防水パッキン２の端面を接合面全周にわたり帯状の凸部４ を形成してある。したがって、図２に示すように筐体のカバー１と筐体の本体３ とを結合した時に、凸部が圧縮されて接合面ａを完全にシールする。

【考案の効果】
本考案によれば、熱可塑性エラストマーを防水パッキンとして二色成形するの で、従来のようにパッキンを別途作成したり、あるいは液状パッキン材を塗布し たりする工程が省略でき、コスト低減につながるとともに、防水パッキンが筐体 カバーと筐体本体の接合面を凸部の圧縮変形によりシールするので、防水性が完 全となっている。

    【実用新案登録請求の範囲】
  1. 【請求項１】 筐体カバーの全表面を熱可塑性エラスト
    マーと二色成形し、筐体カバーと筐体の本体との接合面
    で前記熱可塑性エラストマーの端部が防水パッキンとな
    っている筐体の防水構造。
  2. 【請求項２】 筐体カバーと筐体の本体との接合面にお
    ける熱可塑性エラストマー端部を接合面全周にわたり凸
    になるように形成して防水パッキンとしてなる請求項１
    に記載の筐体の防水構造。
