(57)【要約】 【目的】 突然に減速した場合に、車両に対して子供用
シートが不適切に移動することのない子供用安全シート
提供する。 【構成】 シート本体（１０、１２）と、支持構造体
（８０）と、支持構造体を自動車に連結する第１の解除
可能な連結装置（８４、８６、８８）と、シート本体を
支持構造体に連結する第２の解除可能な連結装置（９
４、９６）とを備えている。支持構造体は、第１の連結
装置が係合されたとき、大人用車両シートのシート部上
方で且つそのシートの背もたせ部（７２）の前方で位置
決めされる、上方に向いた隣接面を備えている。第２の
連結装置は、シート本体を、支持構造体上の隣接面に、
隣接した状態で固定できるように構成されており、その
結果、シート本体を自動車の前方に向けるか、あるいは
シート本体を自動車の後方に向けることができる。

【発明の詳細な説明】
【０００１】
【産業上の利用分野】本発明は、シート本体と、該シー
ト本体に固定されたシートを占有する子供のための装着
帯（ハーネス）と、支持構造体と、前記支持構造体を自
動車に連結するための第１の解除可能な連結手段と、前
記シート本体を前記支持構造体に連結するための解除可
能な第２の連結手段とを備えるタイプの、車両に使用す
る子供用安全シートに関する。

【従来の技術】このタイプのシートは、英国特許（ＧＢ
−Ａ）第２２５４５４８号に開示されている。その支持
構造体は、車両シート上に位置決めされ、第１の連結手
段として作動する大人用シートベルトによって車両シー
トに連結されるように構成されている。第２の連結手段
は、シート本体の背もたせ部に固定されており、前記支
持構造体の部分と係合する。その支持構造体は、車両シ
ートの背もたせ部に隣接している。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】子供用シートを車両シ
ートに配置し所定位置でストラップにより固定すること
により、子供用シートを車両に取り付けることは、車両
シートのばねや詰め物の固有の弾性とストラップ自身の
弾性とから、不利な点が生じる。たとえ、子供用シート
を固定するストラップを、取付状態にある間大変きつく
なるように引っ張るとしても、そのような弾性により、
例えば事故の際などのように突然に減速した場合に、車
両に対して子供用シートが不適切に移動してしまうこと
となる。この不都合を解決するために、自動車に標準の
固定手段ユニットを設ける提案がなされている。その固
定手段ユニットは、子供用シートに固定連結された解除
可能な連結装置と、決められた位置で係合できるように
なっている。本願発明は、そのような固定手段ユニット
に取付可能な、上述したタイプの子供用シートを提供す
ることに関する。

【課題を解決するための手段】本願発明によれば、支持
構造体は、第１の連結手段が係合されたとき、大人用車
両シートのシート部の上方で且つそのシートの背もたせ
部の前方で位置決めされる、上方に向いた隣接手段を備
えており、第２の連結手段が、シート本体を、支持構造
体上の隣接手段に、隣接した状態で固定できるように構
成されており、これにより、シート本体を自動車の前方
に向けるか、あるいはシート本体を自動車の後方に向け
ることができるようになっている。
【０００５】本願発明の実施例は、添付した図面を参照
して、例を用いることによって今から述べられる。

【実施例】図１及び図２に示された子供用シートは、管
状の金属フレーム１２に取り付けられた固定シートシェ
ル１０を備えている。シート１０は、子供用の装着帯
（ハーネス）を備えている。この装着帯（ハーネス）
は、肩用ストラップ（帯状体）１４、１６と、巻付け用
ストラップ１８、２０と、また当て用ストラップ２２と
からなっており、これらは、バックル２４によって互い
に連結されている。オーストラリア特許（ＡＵ−Ｂ）第
５０３６０２号で述べられているように、肩用ストラッ
プ１４、１６は、シートの後ろで調節ストラップ２６に
連結されている。この調節ストラップ２６は、ロック装
置２８を通して上方に突出している。これにより、装着
帯の調節の準備を行い、子供ユーザーに適合できるよう
になっている。
【０００７】図１及び図２に示されたシートは、通常の
方法で車に取り付けられ、大人のための、巻付け用及び
斜めのシートベルトによって固定される。このとき、子
供用シートは、前方を向いているかあるいは後方を向い
ていることになる。前方を向く配置の場合、大人用ベル
トの巻付け用ストラップが、フレーム部材３４、３６の
上方で且つベルトガイド３８、４０の下方で、フレーム
１２の部材３０、３２に巻き付けられる。子供用シート
ベルトが車の左手側で使用された場合、大人用ベルトの
肩用ストラップは、ベルトガイド４２を通って巻き付け
られる。子供用シートベルトが車の右手側で使用された
場合、大人用ベルトの肩用ストラップは、対応するベル
トガイド４４を通って巻き付けられる。フレーム１２の
横断部材４６、４８は、車シートのシート部に置かれ、
フレームの上端部５０、５２は、自動車の背もたせに寄
り掛かることとなる。
【０００８】子供用シートが後向き方向で使用されると
き、横断部材５３が、大人用シートのシート部とその背
もたせとの間の角に隣接し、横断部材４６がシート部に
置かれる。大人用シートベルトの巻付け用部分は、ベル
トガイド５４、５５に係合する。一方、肩用ストラップ
は、シートシェル１０の背もたせの後部に取り付けられ
た枢動ベルトガイド５６に係合している。このタイプの
シートは、ブリタックス（Ｂｒｉｔａｘ）２−ｉｎ−１
の名前で、出願人によって販売されている。
【０００９】本願発明によれば、図１に示されたシート
は、かかる周知のブリタックス（Ｂｒｉｔａｘ）２−ｉ
ｎ−１シートとは、２つの取付け用プレート６０、６２
がフレーム１２の底部に固定されている点において、異
なっている。取付け用プレート６０、６２の各々は、後
述する目的のための、２つの前方固定用穴６４と、２つ
の後方固定用穴６６とを備えている。
【００１０】図３及び４を参照すると、標準化するため
に提案されている固定手段の１つの形は、３つの固定手
段ユニットからなっている。それらのうち２つは、大人
用シートのシート部７０と背もたせ部７２との間で接近
可能である。第３の固定手段は、シート部７０の前縁に
隣接してに配置されている。そのシートのクッションが
その最大長に押し付けられたときでさえ、第３の固定手
段はシート部７０の上面の下方に配置される。各固定手
段ユニットは、ほぼＵ字形をしたロッド状部材７４を有
している。このロッド状部材７４は、車体の突出部分
（ｌｉｍｂ、リム）の端部によって、車体の一部７６に
固定されている。そして、その中央部７８は、車の横断
方でほぼ水平方向に伸びるように方向決めされている
（図４参照）。
【００１１】図５は、本願発明にしたがった支持構造体
を示している。この支持構造体は、ほぼＵ字形状のフレ
ーム部材８０から形成された支持フレーム形状となって
いる。フレーム部材８０の突出部分（リム）の端部は、
互いから離れるように広がっており、横断フレーム部材
８２によって互いに連結されている。それぞれのバック
ル８４、８６は、横断フレーム部材８２の各端部に連結
されている。第３のバックル８８は、Ｕ字形部材７８の
２つの突出部分の間にある連結部に取付られている。そ
れぞれの前方固定用穴９０とそれぞれの穴９２は、各
々、Ｕ字形状のフレーム部材８０の各突出部分を通って
垂直方向に伸びている。
【００１２】図４を参照すると、図１に示された子供シ
ートは、プレート６０をフレーム部材８０に置いた状態
で、支持構造体に位置決めされている。それぞれの前方
固定用穴６４は、前方固定用穴９０の各々に整合されて
いる。それぞれの後方固定用穴６６は、後方固定用穴９
２の各々に整合されている。それぞれのボルト９４は、
各前方固定用穴９０を通って上方に伸びている。同様
に、ボルト９６が、後方固定用穴９２を通って上方に伸
びている。プレート６０は、それぞれのウイングナット
９８、１００によってボルト９４、９６に固定されてい
る。次に、支持フレーム８０、８２は、バックル８４、
８６、８８をそれぞれの固定手段ユニット７４の横断部
７８に係合させることによって、車両に固定されてい
る。
【００１３】子供用シートを前向き方向に変えたいと
き、まず、バックル８４、８６、８８を解除して、支持
フレーム８０、８２を車両から取り外す。次に、２つの
前方ウイングナット９８と２つの後方ウイングナット１
００とをそれぞれのボルト９４、９６から取り外し、そ
して、プレート６２をフレーム部材８０に配置しそのプ
レート６２の穴６４、６６が２つの対になったボルト９
４、９６を受けるように子供用シート１０の再位置決め
を行う。次いで、２つの対になったウイングナット９
８、１００をもとどうりに配置して、図６に示すように
子供用シートを所定の位置に固定する（ベルトガイド５
４に隣接したフレーム１２の一部は、ウイングナット９
８、１００が見えるように、図６において部分的に破断
して示されている）。次いで、バックル８４、８６、８
８をそれぞれの固定手段ユニットに再係合することによ
って、支持フレーム８０、８２を、車両に再配置する。
【００１４】Ｕ字形のフレーム部材８０の突出部分は互
いに平行でないことから、前方固定用穴９０の間の距離
は、後方固定用穴９２の間の距離よりも短くなってい
る。その結果、子供用シートを前方に向けた状態で、プ
レート６０を支持フレーム８０、８２に固定することは
不可能である。また、子供用シートを後方に向けた状態
で、プレート６２を支持フレーム８０、８２に固定する
ことは不可能である。
【００１５】このタイプのシートは、１０ｋｇまでの体
重の赤ん坊には、後向きの方向で使用され、９ｋｇから
１８ｋｇまでの体重の子供には、前向きの方向で使用さ
れる。その結果、ある特定の子供によって使用される期
間の間で、通常、一回だけ、子供用シートは、後向き方
向から前向き方向に変えられる。一方、子供用シートと
支持フレームの全体を、この期間の間、何度でも、車に
取り付け、車から取り外すことができる。
【００１６】図７ないし図９は、バックル８４を詳細に
図示している。本体は、互いに平行な２つの側壁１１
０、１１２を構成するように、Ｕ字形に曲げられたシー
ト状の金属から形成されている。側壁１１０、１１２に
は、これらの間を伸びる横断壁１１４が設けられてい
る。側壁１１０、１１２のうち、図で見て横断壁１１４
の右側端部は、フレーム部材８０に連結されている（図
７ないし図９には示されていない）。
【００１７】側壁１１０、１１２の各々は、開口部付き
のスロット１１６を備えている。スロット１１６は、２
つの側壁１１０、１１２を互いに連結する、Ｕ字形の本
体の一部によって形成された端部壁１１８を通って伸び
ている。各スロット１１６は、しだいに外側に広がった
外端部１２０を備えている。使用に際しては、対応する
固定手段ユニット７４の横断部７８が、スロット１１６
に受け入れられる。挿入の間、外側に広がった外端部１
２０の補助により、その整合が正確に行われる。
【００１８】ラッチ部材１２２が、ピボットピン１２４
に取り付けられている。ピボットピン１２４は、側壁１
１０、１１２の間を伸びている。ラッチ部材１２２に
は、フック形状部１２６が形成されている。フック形状
部１２６は、固定手段ユニット７４の横断部７８の回り
と係合する。フック形状部１２６の外側端には、カム面
１２８が設けれており、このカム面１２８は、挿入の
間、横断部７８の通路の外側へフック形状部１２６を移
動させる。
【００１９】ラッチ部材１２２は、横断壁１１４と係合
する圧縮ばね１３０によって、その係合位置に付勢され
ている。ボーデン（Ｂｏｗｄｅｎ）ケーブル１３４の中
央ワイヤ１３２は、圧縮ばね１３０を通って伸び、ラッ
チ部材１２２上の横断ピン１３６に連結されている。そ
の結果、ワイヤ１３２の張力により、ラッチ部材１２２
の係合を外すことができる。
【００２０】突出装置（エジェクタ）１４０が、側壁１
１０、１１２のスロット１１６に取り付けられている。
突出装置１４０は、横断壁１１４を通って突出する心軸
１４２を備えている。圧縮ばね１１４が、突出装置１４
０を外側に付勢するように、横断壁１１４と、心軸１４
２に設けられたフランジ１４６との間で係合している。
これにより、バックルが固定されたとき、突出装置１４
０は、固定手段ユニット７４の横断部７８に間近に隣接
した状態となることが保証されている（明瞭に図示する
ために、図７において、突出装置は、横断部から離れて
図示されている）。突出装置１４０の作動により、ラッ
チ部材１２２が解除されたとき、横断部７８は、少なく
ともフック形状部１２６の傾斜部１２８まで外側へ確実
に移動されるようになっている。
【００２１】バックル８６、８８は、バックル８４とほ
ぼ同じようになっている。３つのバックル８４、８６、
８８のボーデン（Ｂｏｗｄｅｎ）ケーブル１３４は、共
通の作動部材に連結されている。その結果、３つのバッ
クルは、同時に解除されるようになっている。

Claims (5)

    【特許請求の範囲】
  1. 【請求項１】 シート本体（１０、１２）と、支持構造
    体（８０）と、前記支持構造体（８０）を自動車に連結
    するための第１の解除可能な連結手段（８４、８６、８
    ８）と、前記シート本体を前記支持構造体（８０）に連
    結するための第２の解除可能な連結手段（９４、９６）
    とを備えた子供用安全シートにおいて、 前記支持構造体（８０）は、前記第１の連結手段（８
    ４、８６、８８）が係合されたとき、大人用車両シート
    のシート部（７０）の上方で且つそのシートの背もたせ
    部（７２）の前方で位置決めされる、上方に向いた隣接
    手段を備えており、 前記第２の連結手段（９４、９６）は、前記シート本体
    （１０、１２）を、前記支持構造体（８０）上の前記隣
    接手段に、隣接した状態で固定できるように構成されて
    おり、 これにより、前記シート本体（１０、１２）を前記自動
    車の前方に向けるか、あるいは前記シート本体（１０、
    １２）を前記自動車の後方に向けることができることを
    特徴とする子供用安全シート。
  2. 【請求項２】 請求項１に記載の子供用安全シートにお
    いて、 前記第１の連結手段（８４、８６、８８）は、前記支持
    構造体（８０）と、前記自動車との間を固定可能に連結
    することを特徴とする子供用安全シート。
  3. 【請求項３】 請求項１または請求項２に記載の子供用
    安全シートにおいて、 前記シート本体（１０、１２）は、第１の隣接面（６
    ０）と、第２の隣接面（６２）とを有しており、前記第
    １の隣接面（６０）と第２の隣接面（６２）とは、それ
    ぞれ第１の方向位置と第２の方向位置で支持できるよう
    に、前記支持構造体（８０）に選択的に係合可能であ
    り、 前記第２の連結支持（９４、９６）は、前記シート本体
    （１０、１２）が後方を向いているとき、前記第１の隣
    接面（６０）を前記支持構造体（８０）に連結させるこ
    とができ、前記シート本体（１０、１２）が前方を向い
    ているとき、前記第２の隣接面（６２）を前記支持構造
    体（８０）に連結させることができることを特徴とする
    子供用安全シート。
  4. 【請求項４】 請求項１ないし３のいずれか１項に記載
    の子供用安全シートにおいて、 前記シート本体が、フレーム（１２）に取り付けられた
    シートシェル（１０）を備えていることを特徴とする子
    供用安全シート。
  5. 【請求項５】 請求項１ないし４のいずれか１項に記載
    の子供用安全シートにおいて、 さらに、前記シート本体（１０）に固定されたシートの
    子供占有用の装着帯（１４−２０）を備えていることを
