い。For a bicycle, the handle stem, head tube, and the like are the most prominent even if they compose a face portion when compared to humans, and have a great influence on the image of the entire bicycle. Therefore, if the lead wire attached to the electrical component is exposed in this part, it will be inferior in appearance,
In addition, it may cause a reduction in the speed of the bicycle as a whole. Particularly, in the case of recent sports type bicycles, a simple and sophisticated design is desired, and it is not preferable in design to expose the lead wires on the front portion of the bicycle.

At this time, the lead wire 10 may be caught between the fitting member 5 and the inner surface of the vertical rod portion 2 or may be caught between the fitting member 5 and the bolt 6 due to the movement of the fitting member 5. If that happens, lead wire 10

A handlebar holding portion provided at the front end of the vertical rod, a pulling member that is arranged in contact with the lower end of the vertical rod portion and moves upward to fix the vertical rod portion to the front hawk stem of the bicycle, and the vertical rod portion. And a pulling rod extending through the pulling member to move the pulling member upward. The pulling rod has a center hole that extends from the upper end to the lower end. A lead wire from a wiring device arranged on or near the handle stem is guided below the handle stem through the center hole of the pulling rod.

The lead wire hardly moves. Furthermore, unlike the handle stem shown in FIG. 7, it is not necessary to provide a wiring hole for passing a lead wire in the handle stem, so the strength of the handle stem is not impaired. Further, since the lead wire passes through the center hole of the pulling rod which penetrates the pulling member, the lead wire is not caught by the pulling member.

Further, an engagement protrusion 31 is formed on the outer peripheral surface of the fitting member 24. Referring to FIG. 2, an engaging groove 33 capable of engaging with the engaging protrusion 31 of the fitting member 24 is formed at the lower end of the vertical rod portion 21. The fitting member 24 is for fixing the vertical rod portion 21 to the front hawk stem of the bicycle. That is, the fitting member 24
Is fitted into the lower end of the vertical rod portion 21 with the engaging projection 31 and the engaging groove 33 engaged with each other, and the male screw 29 of the pulling rod 26 is further fitted.
And the female screw 32 of the fitting member 24 are screwed together. By the action of the engaging projection 31 and the engaging groove 33, the fitting member 24 for the vertical rod portion 21 is formed.
Since the rotation is prohibited, in that state, if the pulling rod 26 is rotated in a predetermined direction by using a spanner or the like, the fitting member 24 is moved upward and the lower end of the vertical rod portion 21 is expanded. . When the lower end of the vertical rod 21 is expanded, its outer surface comes into pressure contact with the inner surface of the front hawk stem of the bicycle, and as a result, the vertical rod 21 is fixed to the bicycle body.
