[Prior Art] Asbestos and glass fiber are required because heat resistance, heat insulation, and flexibility are required for the coating of metal pipes and the packing of boilers that pass high-temperature gas or liquid used in ships and automobiles. The heat-insulating adhesive tape formed by is used. Of these, asbestos is excellent in the above-mentioned performance, but adversely affects the human body. Therefore, recently, heat-insulating pressure-sensitive adhesive tapes made of glass fiber have been widely used.

[Problems to be Solved by the Invention] However, since the glass fiber yarns 22 and 23 forming the glass cloth 24 have a strong force to be straightened and the fibers are slippery, the slitted glass cloth 24 In the case where a cut edge of the side edge portion or a through hole (not shown) is provided, there is a problem that the glass fiber yarns 22 and 23 are frayed at the edge as shown in FIG. In particular, when the glass fiber yarn having a large number of fibers and a large fiber diameter is used, the fraying causes serious problems in appearance and use.

First, the heat insulating adhesive tape 1 of the present embodiment will be described.
As shown in the figure, two glass cloths 4 formed by weaving a glass fiber yarn 2 as a warp yarn and a glass fiber yarn 3 as a weft yarn in a plain weave are stacked. These glass cloths 4 are formed in a slit-like tape shape having a constant width. Further, both glass cloths 4 have a thickness of about 1/2 that of the desired heat insulating adhesive tape,
Therefore, as the glass fiber yarns 2 and 3 constituting these, thin fibers having a small number of fibers or a small fiber diameter are used. Therefore, the glass fiber yarns 2 and 3 are more flexible than conventional ones and have a weaker force to straighten.

This manufacturing method is the same as the above manufacturing method until the original fabric base 6 is formed. However, after the original fabric base 6 is slit and processed into a plurality of tape bases 10, the tape base 10 is formed. This is different from the above-mentioned manufacturing method in that the step of adhering the pressure sensitive adhesive 7 on one surface of the above and then sticking the release sheet 8 on the surface of the pressure sensitive adhesive 7 is taken. The action and effect are almost the same as those of the above manufacturing method.
