Conventionally, as shown in FIG. 6, a small halogen lamp is composed of a halogen bulb 1 and a reflecting mirror 3 which surrounds the halogen bulb 1 and has a substrate glass having a spheroidal surface coated with a reflecting film 2 by a vapor deposition method. However, since the halogen bulb 1 is exposed, a falling object collides with the halogen bulb 1 and damages the halogen bulb 1, or the halogen bulb 1 itself emits high temperature due to careless use. There was a risk that 1 would self-destruct and adversely affect surrounding properties.

[Structure of the Invention] (Means and Actions for Solving the Problem) In order to achieve the above object, the present invention relates to a small halogen lamp in which a front glass is attached to a reflecting mirror having a reflective film deposited thereon. A first mounting surface having a width at least equal to the thickness of the front glass, and a second mounting surface formed at a predetermined angle with the first mounting surface. Since the width of each of the first and second mounting surfaces is set to 2 mm or more, each mounting portion of the mounting margin is formed to have a width of 2 mm or more, so that the adhesion between the reflecting mirror and the front glass is required for safety. And a breaking strength that does not damage the front glass.

As shown in FIG. 1, the front glass 4 is adhered to the peripheral edge of the reflecting mirror 3 with an adhesive in consideration of light distribution and safety of the halogen lamp. FIG. 2 shows a reflector 3 and a front glass 4
FIG. 3 is an enlarged view of the attachment portion 5 for the front glass 4, which corresponds to the thickness of the front glass 4 on the inner edge side facing the flange 6 formed on the outer edge side of the peripheral edge of the reflecting mirror 3, as shown in FIG. A step having a depth, that is, a mounting margin is formed by the mounting margin side wall portion 3a and the mounting margin valley portion 3b. When attaching the front glass 4 to the reflecting mirror 3,
The front edge of the front glass 4 is mounted by mounting the end face of the peripheral edge of the front glass 4 in contact with the side wall 3a. The valley 3b is formed with a predetermined obtuse angle. After placing the front glass 4, mount the front glass 4 3a, 3b
Then, the entire surface is adhered with an adhesive to be fixed and attached to the reflecting mirror 3. The adhesive used for adhesion may be either an organic adhesive or an inorganic adhesive. When the front glass 4 is attached to the reflecting mirror 3, the side wall portion should be attached.
Since 3a is formed to have a depth corresponding to the thickness of the front glass 4, no step is formed in the mounting portion 5.

In addition, the vapor deposition of the reflective film 2 on the substrate glass of the reflecting mirror 3 is performed on the substrate glass installed in a vapor deposition apparatus (not shown).
By evaporating the film material for forming the film, the reflective film 2 is vapor-deposited on the inner surface of the substrate glass to manufacture the reflecting mirror 3.

As shown in FIG. 3 (B), the mounting allowance width formed in the mounting allowance valley portion 3b is set from the end of the installation allowance valley portion 3b toward the tangent portion between the side wall portion 3a and the installation allowance valley portion 3b. The distance at the mounting clearance 3b was set, and the relationship with the adhesive strength was experimentally investigated. In this experiment, an adhesive was applied only to the mounting valley portion 3b. As a result, there was a correlation as shown in FIG. 3 (A), and it was found from the results of this experiment that the practical mounting width required was 2 mm or more. That is, the explosive force of the halogen bulb 1 at the time of self-explosion is about 10 kg / cm 2 , and the adhesive strength required for the front glass 4 to maintain the adhesion with the reflecting mirror 3 is 10 kg / cm 2.
Since it will be more than kg / cm 2 , considering the variation in adhesive strength, it is considered that a mounting width of 1.3 mm or more that gives an adhesive strength of 14 kg / cm 2 or more is sufficient. Considering the manufacturing variation of glass 4, 2 mm
The above mounting width is practically necessary. In the present embodiment, the width of the mounting allowance formed in the mounting allowance valley portion 3b is set to 2 mm based on the result of this investigation.

On the other hand, when the thickness of the glass used for the front glass 4 was changed and the breaking strength at that time was examined, the relationship between the glass thickness and the breaking strength as shown in FIG. 4 was obtained. In order to prevent the windshield 4 from being damaged when the light bulb 1 self-explodes, considering a variation in the characteristics of the windshield 4, a thickness of 1.8 mm or more is sufficient to obtain a breaking strength of 14 kg / cm 2 or more, Furthermore, it was found that a thickness of 2 mm or more is necessary in consideration of the manufacturing variations of the front glass 4. In the present embodiment, the thickness of the front glass 4 is set to 2 mm based on this investigation result.

As described above, in this embodiment, the width of the mounting margin formed on the side wall portion 3a of the mounting margin and the valley portion 3b of the mounting margin is set to 2 mm, and the thickness of the front glass 4 is set to 2 mm. When the adhesion strength between No. 4 and the breaking strength of the front glass 4 was confirmed, both were good. Further, when the front glass 4 was attached, there was no step at the attachment portion 5, and the appearance was good.

In the above-mentioned embodiment, the front glass 4 is mounted on the trough 3b where the front glass 4 is mounted.
The attachment to the reflecting mirror 3 is not limited to this, and may be configured as shown in FIG. 5, for example. That is, the protrusion 4a is formed upright on the peripheral edge of the front glass 4, and the mounting margin that engages with the protrusion 4a is formed on the peripheral edge of the reflecting mirror 3. The mounting margin includes a mounting margin 3c that abuts the end face of the protrusion 4a, a mounting margin side wall 3d that engages the inner peripheral surface of the protrusion 4a, and an attachment margin end 3e that abuts the inner surface of the windshield 4. It is preferable that the width of the mounting margin of each portion of the mounting margin is 2 mm or more. Also, the front glass 4 and its protrusions
The thickness of 4a is also preferably 2 mm or more.
