- 【特許請求の範囲】 1高い光沢と高い隠蔽力あるいは高い透明度を有し、追加の成分を含有すること ができる透明な、無機の微小板状マトリックスから成る微小板状顔料であって、 その追加の成分は可溶性あるいは不溶性の着色剤であり、そのマトリックスを少 なくとも一面で金属酸化物あるいは金属の1種以上の薄い、透明あるいは半透明 な反射層でコーティングして光沢を達成することを特徴とする微小板状顔料。 2透明な無機のマトリックスが二酸化珪素、珪酸塩、硼素酸化物、硼酸塩、アル ミニウム酸化物、アルミン酸塩、あるいはこれらの混合物から成ることを特徴と する請求項1の顔料。 3無機のマトリックスを網目形成材あるいは網目改質剤で改質することことを特 徴とする請求項1および2による顔料。 4無機のマトリックスが表面を平滑にするために硫酸バリウムを含有しているこ とを特徴とする請求項1ないし3による顔科。 5硫酸バリウムが1重量%ないし50重量%、好ましくは10重量%ないし25 重量%の量コーティングされてない基体中に含まれていることを特徴とする請求 項4による顔料。 6不溶性の着色剤が有機のあるいは無機の顔料であることを特徴とする請求項1 ないし5による顔科。 7有機顔料がアゾ顔料、アントラキノン顔料、インジゴあるいはチオインジゴ誘 導体、ジケトピロロピロール顔料、ベリレン顔料あるいはフタロシアニン顔料で あることを特徴とする請求項6による顔料。 8無機の顔料がカーボンブラック、二酸化チタン酸化鉄、二酸化クロム、酸化コ バルトあるいは混合酸化物であることを特徴とする請求項6による顔料。 9可溶性の着色剤が色を出す金属酸化物を生ずる可溶性の金属化合物あるいは可 溶性の有機顔料であることを特徴とする請求項1ないし5による顔料。 10色を出す金属酸化物が鉄酸化物、クロム酸化物、コバルト酸化物であること を特徴とする請求項9による顔科。 11可溶性の有機顔料がアルカリに溶解するハイドロキシアントラキノン染料あ るいは酸性アゾ染料であることを特徴とする請求項9による顔料。 12反射層として生成した金属層が銀、金、パラジウム、白金、アルミニウム、 クロムあるいは銅から成ることを特徴とする請求項1ないし11による顔料。 13反射層として生成した金属酸化物層が酸化クロム、二酸化チタン、酸化鉄あ るいはこれらの混合物からなり、かつ干渉色を得るために使用することを特徴と する請求項1ないし11による顔料。 14顔料が微小板状マトリックスおよび着色剤から成ることを特徴とする請求項 1ないし5および9ないし11による顔料。 15その他の層が反射層にあるいは特別な物理的および/または化学的要求条件 のためにマトリックスに塗布されることを特徴とする請求項1ないし14による 顔料。 16−マトリックス素材の前躯体を薄いフィルムとして連続ベルトに塗布し、 −その液状フィルムを乾燥によって固化し、−固化したフィルム中でマトリック スを化学反応によって前駆体から製造し、 −得られた層をついでその支持媒体から分離しさらに洗浄し、そうして −粒子を場合によっては乾燥し、強熱し、磨細し、分別することからなる追加の 成分を含有していてもよく、かつ金属酸化物あるいは金属の1種またはそれ以上 の薄い、透明なあるいは半透明な反射層でコーティングした透明な、無機の微小 板状マトリックスから成る高い光沢および高い隠蔽力あるいは高い透明性を有す る微小板上顔料の製造方法であって、乾燥によって固化したフィルムを酸で処理 し、得られたフィルム粒子を金属酸化物あるいは金属の1種以上の層でコーティ ングすることを特徴とする上記微小板状顔料の製造方法。 17珪酸塩類あるいはそれらの混合物を金属アルミニウム、珪素、カリウム、ナ トリウムの有機あるいは無機化合物の前駆体溶液として硼酸塩、塩化物、アルミ ン酸塩、あるいはポリ燐酸塩あるいはメタ燐酸塩と共に使用することを特徴とす る請求項16による方法。 18前駆体が珪酸ナトリウムであることを特徴とする請求項16による方法。 19網目形成材あるいは網目改資材を前駆体に可溶性の塩の形で添加することを 特徴とする請求項16ないし18による方法。 20硫酸バリウムをマトリックスの表面を平滑にするために前駆体に添加するこ とを特徴とする請求項16ないし19による方法。 21有機または無機の顔料の微細な粒子が連続ベルトに塗布前にあるいは塗布中 に前駆体中で分散することを特徴とする請求項16ないし20による方法。 22分散した顔料粒子の量が前駆体にたいして0.01重量%ないし99重量% 、好ましくは1ないし30重量%であることを特徴とする請求項21による方法 。 23分散液をビードミル中で顔科粒子および前駆体から製造することを特徴とす る請求項21による方法。 24前躯体を金属化合物の水溶液および/または可溶性の有機顔料と一緒に連続 ベルトに塗布することを特徴とする請求項16ないし23による方法。 25金属化合物が錯化剤でマスクされていることを特徴とする請求項16ないし 23による方法。 26錯化剤がクエン酸、酒石酸、あるいはEDTAであることを特徴とする請求 項25による方法。 27前躯体の中の金属化合物の割合が0.01ないし50重量%、好ましくは2 ないし10重量%であることを特徴とする請求項24ないし26による方法。 28ペイント、印刷インキ、化粧品あるいはプラスチックのようなフォーミュレ ーション中での、あるいは耐腐食剤としての請求項1ないし15による顔料の使 用。
