た再生区間をマウスで、変更することにより容易に再生

能な映像音響機器によって情報記録媒体に記録された映
像および音声の記録区間と、前記記録区間に記録されて
いる映像および音声の中で再生を行う再生区間をマウス
などの座標指定装置の操作により設定・変更、再生区間
の選択および再生開始信号・再生停止信号の送信を行う
操作部と、記録区間を記憶する記録区間記憶部と、前記
操作部によって新しく設定・変更された再生開始点を一
時記憶する再生開始点一時記憶部と、前記再生開始点一
時記憶部に記憶された再生開始点と組となる再生終了点
を一時記憶する再生終了点一時記憶部と、前記再生開始
点一時記憶部および前記再生終了点一時記憶部に一時記
憶されている再生開始点、再生終了点を重複することな
く記憶し、変更された再生区間を、以前の再生区間を消
去した後に、新規に記憶する再生区間記憶部と、前記再
生区間記憶部に記憶されている再生区間が記録区間に含
まれているかを検査し、記録区間内のときは区間表示信
号を送信し、記録区間外のときは前記再生区間記憶部か
ら消去する区間検査部と、前記操作部より選択された再
生区間に対して、映像音響機器を再生待機状態とし、再
生区間の再生開始信号の受信により再生区間の再生を始
め、再生時点を随時記憶し、再生停止信号を受信したと
